I use Ford Pass to check vehicle location and gas level. Both lost some functionality with the current update.

After parking my Hybrid, FordPass properly displays the location and 'Range'. But, after a minute or so connectivity is lost and the following message displayed:

'Drive to reconnect FordPass'
'Vehicle in Battery Saver Mode
Please drive your vehicle to refresh status and remote features'

How can I drive the vehicle if I may not know where it is???

The location is updated once started, then once again after driving a minute or so then again only after stopping the vehicle and 'parking'. The prior version would update the location as the vehicle is being driven and also while parked.

I'd occasionally check the fuel level at home from the comfort of my throne prior to leaving. Now the vehicle must be started to check the fuel level.

I thought the previous version also displayed a Fuel Gauge, now it reports only Range, I like the gauge.

Hope Ford restores these functions in the next revision.

Can’t get any further. I am not so much with tech, but I have removed and installed the app twice, even signed in with my account and my wife’s. Also restarted phone. iPhone with iOS 17. This is all I see after signing in.

Just tested to see if I had the new version and I get the welcome screen then it goes away and is only a blank white screen. Anyone have a fix?

Me too!

I’ve dumped the app 4 times.
Always comes back to this after re-install.
My old iPad still works with the previous app version.

Must be an Apple problem. Apple SE has a small screen, I like it because of its size. Old app worked fine. Hope Ford is aware and does a fix but with the troubles they have with some of their recall software fixes it may take a while. My last resort is to chat with them

If you have the font on the phone set too large it may not display properly and not show a way out of that screen.

Try reducing the font size temporarily to see if you can get past it. I run into this on my android sometimes.

That worked for me. I have an SE with font size set up to large. I lowered it and it now works.

Yup!
Seems that the font size was not allowing me to see the whole (bottom of the)
screen.
Made it smaller. Now all is available
