Go to other dealer in area, bring quote. See who wants your biz. Best deal would be msrp or price plus tax , reg, and maybe up to $400 doc/admin fee. Nothing else is required. Timing helps, is it in stock?
I just got a another quote from granger Ford.
$1,000 discount offer on MSRP, so expectation is around $29,000. perhaps military discount 500 more

I am not sure is there any dealership in Houston TX who can does price match with this offer

I just got a quote from a dealership.

I was trying to make an order Maverick Hybrid 24 with copilot 360, Trailer hitch.

the dealer gave me a quote:

MSRP $ 25420
Vehicle protection plan $ 995
options $ 750
Destination charges $ 1595
Acquisition Fee $ 645
non tax fee $245
etc..

so I remember TOD was $32,500.

I said I have plan to pay with cash and TOD expectation was around $30,000.
The dealer did not mention those fees until I visit their office.
and she said they are non negotiable to order new maverick.

I understand there is TTL, but I do not know about Vehicle protection plan and non tax fee
Are they mandatory fees? or just hidden fee or ADM?
All those extras don’t add up to $32k and a bunch of those fees are pure ripoff. Don’t walk away, run away from that dealer.

Well, can you go to granger? Pick your number $28,500 or so. Then get their quote and show it to your dealers in your area. See who can get closest by Sunday by 6 pm. Not sure of all of your details, but if it is in stock, the last day of the month, quarter, or the night of the end of the weekend are good times. Do not say you’re paying cash. Wait until they present all the pricing and you are ready to sign, then decide. You want them to think you’re financing.

She brought to first quote was around $42,000.
and she crossed out 4 extra charging subjects in front of me, off almost $10,000
and it became around $32,000.

Here is another dumb question,
I thought pay in cash is best option to buy,
but may I ask why should not to tell "pay in cash" to a dealer?
If the dealer thinks I am considering financing, then is there any change to get better deals on the table ?

They get bonuses for bringing loans to the lenders. If they think they are getting that bonus because you are financing, the theory is that they may give you more leeway on the price.

Yes here is why. The dealer makes lots of $$$ when you finance. They lose when you pay cash. Negotiate your best deal first, decide how to pay later. If you have the cash, pay it off in a few months, there is no penalty.

Never say you’re paying cash until you see a final out the door price. Ask for your out the door price in writing. Watch a bunch of car buying videos on YouTube and bone up on it. They sell cars every day and you buy one every five years. You must arm yourself with knowledge and be confident enough to walk away if it is not right. It is much harder now than it used to be. But it can still be done.

Can you go to granger? How much to ship if not?

I browsed through the website's drop-down menu.
But I discovered that the dealer's website sticker contains them.
This one appears to have been hit by hail, so I might add it to my list.

Anyway, my suggestion is to look at ones that show a $27,660 MSRP, so you're not wasting time looking at builds with more or less equipment than you want.

I ordered my XL hybrid from a dealer in Austin. I told the sales person ahead of time that I was paying cash and they were fine with that. They did try to push buying a warranty and Lo-Jack, which I declined. I paid MSRP.
