Do you provide the tsb number for the third one?
This what is on the paperwork

24S24B
reprogram PCM and BCM to latest level and relearn TPMS

FSA 24S27B
BCM update

FSA 23C41B
BCM configuration data update

That Is all I got. I don't have the recall letters anymore

Thank you very much. I just received the recall for the taillights on my '24. I live about a two hour drive from the dealership so I'll wait untill I get the new recall notice. You saved me a trip!

Thanks for info. You prob not know, but question is, is the 3rd 23C41 applicable to only certain VINs?

Don't know but if it is officially released you should be able to verify on the NTSA website were you can look up recalls.

Last recall I did wiped out my Forscan updates. Is there any way they can do the update without clearing all the Forscan changes?

No. When dhe update is done it rewrites the software so any changes you programed in are gone. Easy enough to reprogram.

According to Consumer Reports, FSA 24S24 applies to:

• Ford Maverick pickup trucks manufactured between Feb. 3, 2021, and Oct. 28, 2022

This came out today to dealers:

Just had my truck set with latest recall. Mobile tech took care of it in my driveway.
I asked about the latest recall, he says they have‘t seen anything yet. My reply is might see you back again, IF my VIN # affected by it, and Ford notifies me of this latest recall.

I said you did this first recall, now doing similar. How is this latest one different. He answered the first only covered 1 light, this one cover all. Whatever that means.

I have the 1st recall fixed in April when I have an oil change an took off the winter tires. Wasn't planning to go back to the dealer anytime soon. Received the 2nd BCM recall yesterday.

Mobile service in my driveway. Recall is done, closed. Now I need to see that on Ford Pass it gets logged in by dealer, and Ford.

Asked tech if another new recall out there. He says they haven’t seen anything yet. So I sit and wait if get letter from Ford.

Cheers!

After I got the truck in Oct last year, learned of the body control module and tail light issue. Dealer sent mobile tech to do software dump. Went smooth. My viewing Ford Pass app on my cell phone, under the service/recall icon, saw a red flag, saying the recall needs action. I’m asking why, if the software was change by Ford tech. Does the vehicle gets an update at Ford data base?

Recently, got a letter from Ford announcing a recall, guessing same one, on my truck, VIN #. I checked the Ford Pass app, and strangely it has a notice of recall! This is unusual. One would think if the BCM hooked up, software dump done, then Ford’s records should be updated automatically. Or is dealer need to alert Ford of this recall correction? Something not right!! Got a disconnect somewhere, somehow.

Now the question is do I do nothing, believing the Ford Pass app record regarding this recall, or do I deal with the dealer to sort out if this truck has satisfied the recall? Do need to contact Ford, never mind the dealer.

Any suggestions?
Had mine done by Ford Mobile Service and it took a few days to report to Ford Pass App that it was done. It should catch up depends how soon Ford inputs it in or possibly when the vehicle reports to Ford with updated software

Had a recall performed on my 2023 hybrid. 700 miles later a demon possessed my vehicle. Worst part was it took off by itself, took it to dealer that downplayed the issue. I talked to someone at Ford who nearly admitted they did something wrong. Reprogrammed again seems good to go.

I'm at dealer for 24S27 recall as I'm writing this and it's been 1 1/2 hours and still sitting in waiting room~~~ I asked about battery going into BatterySaver mode every time I park it and they said they would need to do a 3 hour process to test the battery. So I'm going to see how long this 24S27 job takes and see if I want to be here all day or set it up for anotherday.
Their Mobile Service only goes out 12 miles and I live 18 miles away .
Yes the full comprehensive battery test is three hours. Which means you may have to wait 3.5 hours or 7.0 hours to get your test started. Apparently Ford requires an extensive spreadsheet for dealer to be paid for warrantied battery.
