I've been buying windshield wipers for years from Aero Wiper Blades (https://aerowiper.com/). Their wipers are better than any wiper I've purchased anywhere and at a bargain price. I've referred several people to this company and they all love Aero Wiper Blades.
Great to hear. I did see them on line, but if I buy that type, and install, Dealer will say thats not the original manufacturer. Then back to square one.

My problem is: I just don't know if its the wiper because its soft, pliable, no discoloration.
Problem the dealer I contacted said he would not even look at the rubber on the wiper arm without charging me their hourly rate..

He should say put new wipers on, motor craft and if same symptoms then will look at taking care of it based upon warranty. I

I've put Aero Wipers on several cars, warranty or no warranty. I guess I don't understand the difference a warranty makes if the replacement solution works.

Thanks for response. Your right about "it make no difference IF".
I'm just leaning against being the wiper, but could be.

But If i go get another manufacturer then motorcraft the dealer will potentially say "well thats not the original replacement.

That puts me back in square one. I pay i.e. $40 for another manufacturer and then have to pay $40 for motorcraft after dealer says buy motor craft and then will go from there.
So, then I got $80 in wipers without potentially solving the problem.

Does that have any rational. Please tell me if it doesn't. I want to make best decision.
Maybe when I contact a second dealer tomorrow I will get good info.

What's the harm in putting on replacement wipers and, if they dont work, put the original wipers back on? Or maybe I'm not understanding the issue?

Thanks again. Your right if you mean put on motorcraft replacements and keep the receipt and show the deliver service department that the new wiper doesn't work either.

That is my plan with going to the new dealer instead of yesterday bad conversation I had with the first dealer.

He wouldn't even accept those terms unless he charge me a service charge at the hourly rate for doing which I believe is about $200 an hour plus wipers for $40.

Thats high way robbery for making a complimentary diagnosis on a truck less then 6 mths. old and hardly ever using the wipers.

Don't you think so?

You might try cleaning them with an alcohol rub like for glasses. That has often stopped my bouncy blades.

Thank you. Did it. Made a call on two different days to Plantation Ford. Left messages, Ford Manufacturer left messages to Plantation Ford. They don't return the calls.

For those that don't just replace the inserts, there is also the old school "Rubber Renue" which has been used for decades to make hardened rubber parts more supple for period of time. Isopropal will clean rubber, but will further dry it out and harden, which will exacerbate chatter.

Glass treatments, like RainX, may reduce chatter, but must be re-applied fairly often, as wiper use wears it off. RainX can also prevent the designed insert "flipping", which is necessary for good wiping on both forward and reverse strokes.

If the rubber insert is overall pliable, but the wipe edge is hardened, then 1000 grit sand paper can restore a new edge. Leave the wiper down on the windshield, slip the sandpaper between wiper and glass and run paper the length of the wiper a few times. This technique more or less maintains the original flat bottom profile of the insert, which is important for wiping and also correct insert flipping.

Last, sometimes the blade assy or wiper arm is tweaked--car wash or other incident-- where the downward force is applied at an angle, rather than perpidicular, which prevents insert flipping, which causes chatter. A small machinist square or similar, and an adjustable wrench to apply twist to the arm, can to return the force perpendicular to the windshield,.

Thank you for info.
I wish my wipers were NOT pliable or discolored. but their not which just insists that the wiper blades are good, by i got this wipers skipping across the glass. Strange, they wipers work very well on dry glass after I did a water and wiper comparision.

The dealer should have welcomed me so he can take a look at wipers and saw they looked good and some "Now we can use the warranty to help you" since the wipers are good. But they haven't done that.

I bought Rain X last night and will put them on today to see if outside chance a good wiper, mine, isn't as good as they appear?

Ok, those who made the following of these posts. Thank you for recommendations and experiments. Serious!

First disappointed with Ford Dealer not saying "come out and will look at your wipers", and of course they would say they look good, as they do. But they did not offer that invitation.

I would have paid for purchase of Motorcraft new wipers on and keep the receipt. But they wouldn't do that: Margate Auto Nation.

Called Plantation Ford 3 times left message to service manager. Ford called them twice on my behalf. They would not reply even with a text saying "we have your message and will be in touch".
Hey Plantation if you are reading this, then take that suggestion as advisable. You will have more business.

Ford Manufacturer ask for reviews after speaking with us on phone. That is a good idea because it keeps the respondent accountable somewhat. Don't you agree? I wish they didn't have Dealers, and Ford Manufacture becomes a service center as well sales. Guess a law prohibits it.

People working at dealers should be accountable for their lack of assistance. And reviews given to customers after their conversations hopefully would do that. If I were an owner of a Dealership, I would put that in place.

So went to Walmart bought Rain Expert Fix Beam. They had Michelin, but not the type to fit. In fact it was the only company that had wipers to fit, Beam Style Push, Tab, Button.

Finally, Rain X worked. Why? MotorCraft wipers: if you hold wiper in hand and take the other hand and move the wiper left to right, it slides 3 times the amount that the, Rain X does. That is the only way I can explain it, because MotorCraft and Michelin both looked in the same condition.
I did go and try the same movement on cars in the parking lot where I lived. Those 4 cars had no movement including my wife's.
