Where did you get the power supply from? I got a Pelsee mirror dash cam. My dealer says I should buy a different one. Suggested one that sticks to the window. They also said the rear one requires a bracket to mount. One person on youtube mounted it beside the rear slider on the ledge to the right of the latch. He said it was upside down. I figure I could remove the screws and turn it 90 degrees and reinstall the srews.
In the collision assist camera housing. There is a 12-pin plug that fits into the module. I have a patch cable that I made that is inserted between the Ford Plug and the module's socket.
Parts (Plug $0.92; socket $1.93; 25 pins so you get 9 extra $1.78) are about $15 shipped from Mouser Electronics, plus some 22 ga wires and a lot of patience, shrink tubing and a hot glue gun.
Here's the plug from a Lariat with 360Assist:

Pin 4 is 12v power; pin 5 is ground.
Here is the Ford pinout (FROM the plug side):

Pin 3 and pin 11 are not used on the lower trims:

Fair enough. But I think the frameless one looks like those adhesive backed replacement mirrors that you use to fix a broken mirror.
Some people like frameless glasses and some people like glasses with big thick frames that may block your visibility lol.. All I know is I can open my garage door and see better out of my rear view and no wiring required. In my opinion, the frameless looks like a mirror that comes in a brand new 2024 vehicle. The kia one looks like it came out of a 2010 Kia Forte.

Yes please. Mine is coming in next week and I'm curious which wires on the map light you used.
So first off, watch the post that old_norm posted
To start off with my apologies of my inability to use this form ! But this is what I know
The three wires from the truck you will use out of the five from the lights are black, yellow and purple
The black from the truck goes to the black ground on the mirror
The yellow from the truck goes to the black in the middle of the three wires from the mirror
The purple from the truck goes to the black with white stripes from the mirror
You may have to buy a T tab connection to hook up the ground from the mirror. Also remember to use the t tabs as far away from the connection to the light as possible so you have room to plug it back in to the lights You will need some trim tools and if you have a sunroof definitely makes it easier. Take your time. Watch all the videos on this form . Remember if I can do it, you can do it

Thanks, I did watch the video and with your added info it should be pretty straight forward.

Does it fit the maverick windshield bracket?

It’s the best mod I’ve made to my Maverick.
Agreed. I've done alot but the mirror was my first mod and every time I glance at it, or operate the garage door, I grin like a little kid.

Hey, those aren't frameless! :wink::)
yes I posted pictures of 2 different Toyota "framed" options that will fit in the Maverick. I went with the 3rd option the frameless just because I like it better.

As weird as this may seem I actually had bought three of the Kia mirrors about a year and a half ago. I paid something silly like $12 plus shipping. I installed one in my new 2022 Nissan Frontier and sold the other two. It was a popular mod for the Frontier and was posted on the Frontier forum and everyone scramble to buy one. The idea of the Kia mirror actually came from this forum. I no longer have the Frontier and never imagined I would now own a 2024 Maverick. Even though I paid $45 now it's still an amazing deal considering its free shipping.

I installed mine several months ago. After reading about how some installations did not go well and about cutting wires to install, I decided to extend the existing wires and just run them to the fuse panel in the passenger footwell. Just 2 wires to hook up, power to a fuse that has power only when the ignition is on, and the ground to the nut that holds the fuse panel to the firewall. The wires were run down the passenger side windshield pillar and hid behind the plastic.

This allows me to disconnect the mirror easily for service or if I want to remove it.

It works great and I am happy.
