I just have about 1300 miles on the truck. And this is something I felt all the time.
Till 60 mph, the truck feels good. But from 70mph onwards I feel vibration on the steering wheel.
There is no vibration on the gas pedal. 80 mph onward, the vibration on steering starts bothering me.
Shall I get the wheel balanced? Don't want to go to the dealer.
Thanks

Make an appointment at a Dealer unless you want to spend some fun money, but it does sound like a balancing issue.

I would take it to the dealer and have them test-drive it. But don't expect them to exceed the speed limit to reproduce the issue.

Taking to the dealer.. I guess it should be free of charge for a 3 month truck.

If your dealer doesn't have a road force balancer, shame on them.

Your local Discount Tire store can diagnose and balance your tires for you. Our stores do have the equipment to Road Force Balance your tires. That process will pinpoint and correct a vast majority of balance/vibration issues.

You could have a bad CV axel, a very, very, common issue. At least on the '22 Hybrids, '24 might be OK. If the shake gets worse while accelerating or putting load on it and slightly better when coming off throttle, that is a bad CV axel....or two.

It could be a balance issue but they are balanced at the factory. If the CV axels check out fine, and a normal balance checks fine, ask for a "Road Force" balance. You can also make sure the shop rotates the tire on the wheel itself. Small (normal) deviations in the tire can cause slight weight imbalance. Same thing with the wheels. Neither are perfectly balanced themselves.

Could be a bent rim or bad tire from factory . somebody else had that issue on site .

Even when I let off the gas pedal and the truck is slowing down, the vibrations on the steering wheel is there until it goes below 60 mph.

The dealer has force road balancer or whatever it is called. That is the first thing they will do.
Will let you all know on Sunday

My steering vibrations start very mildly at about 82mph, and then quite significantly by 85. I haven't taken it in (@9300 miles) as it so rare I am going that fast.

Before balancing, pay the money to have a wheel alignment done, because it is no sense in getting a new balance job if the alignment is out. When I got my new wheels, at 2,000 miles or so, I had the alignment done (I cant remember whether it was 2- or 4-wheel alignment), and it was only "slightly out." Good to know.
