They just announced another recall related to the charging system and battery on all 22 & 23 mavericks so that might solve the problems

Since monitoring the 12V battery is hard to do with a plug in 12V adapter I decided to pick up a Bluetooth monitor (BM6). I believe it is still learning (I have only had it 2 days) as the SoC is slowly moving up but the voltage data should be true. You can see my trip to and from work did not net much of a charge, but my two back to back trips to and from the dog park today caused it to almost fully charge?

I have only had one instance of Deep Sleep so far in the 3ish weeks I have had the truck and it worked as it should and started no problem.

Today after the two short trips

This looks like the truck is charging just fine, assuming the spikes are when you are driving and I'm sure they are.
Looks to me like your battery won't charge and it's not the trucks fault. The truck is giving it 15 volts like it should with a low battery. The problem is the battery is always low(bad)

I 100% agree. I have been monitoring my charging system with ScanGauge and my Mav charges just fine. But I still had battery issues. Changing my battery to Interstate AGM battery and changing the charge level to 95% fixed my issue. The the recent charging battery recall will NOT fix most of the battery issues seen on this forum.

Ya, I'm still running the crap Ford battery in my hybrid. I consider myself lucky, especially since I had a draw from a dealer installed alarm that killed my battery overnight 4 times.
That thing has got to be on it's last leg.
I'll replace it with a small AGM when the time comes. (probably this summer cause it gets into the 100's here.
I never did change the charge percent with Forscan, I might do it if I decide to buy the license. The free one ran out last month.
I just look at my little usb voltmeter sometimes and it's usually at 14.7 or so when the truck is on, and high 12's when off so I don't worry about it.
I've never had a deep sleep issue since the alarm was disconnected. That piece of crap was an add on the dealer wanted $600 for. I told them no thanks and it's so cheap they just left it in there. My guess is it's like a $20 alarm they put in every car and then upsell. Bastards.

Is this another recall issued today? Because the one they issued a few days ago does not include all '23 MY Hybrids, at least not mine.

I am not sure how to interpret the SoC graph but the Voltage one does not look promising. I will try the Faraday cage idea to see if it changes the drain over night but I figure if I put a dollar into a jar every time I log in to see the battery graph I should have enough saved to buy an AGM battery when needed. 😜

So.... this is showing voltage only, correct? It's good for logging when your truck is on and when it isn't.

It would also show if your truck was "waking up" and drawing the voltage down without your knowledge.

But it's not going to show much about charging or state of charge unless you also install an ammeter.

like this:

The battery is crap.
The battery is perhaps sulfated.
OR poorly made.

My hybrid is NOT using much power over-night. 1% or 2% battery capacity.
So I should be able to park it for 50 to 100 days. But it won't hold a charge.
Set in the garage it won't hold a charge.

Ford sold us crap in a box for the 12v anyway. I start to get upset; then remember this is a $20k truck before add-ons. Add-ons that are creature comforts or appearance related and not related to the truck's performance.

We got what we paid for. So I've come to terms with it. Soon I will replace with a new better battery. I'm convinced my truck is fine. 12v battery is crap.
Replaced my Ford battery and it made no difference. Still have to trickle charge once a week. Most owners do not monitor voltage levels. They just drive till systems quit working in deep sleep mode. Ford needs to address this issue. I drive mine once a day for about 10 miles in town. The 12 volt battery doesn’t even run a starter which is the main reason cars have a large battery. It should be a simple matter for the inverter to keep it topped off, even on a short trip.

I totally agree, if there is sufficient power in the HV battery it should continue to top up the 12v until it’s fully charged or the HV drops to low!

Do you have your keyfob blocked in a Faraday cage or pouch, or a tin cakebox overnight? I've been checking on all the clicking that the hybrid does, and am convinced that a number of fairly power-hungry systems are kept operating because the vehicle can communicate with the key and is anticipating that you are close enough that you will be getting in and starting it soon. I started putting it in a tin box to defeat driveway key cloning thefts, but it has a pretty obvious effect on the clicking from the vehicle.
No. And no need to.

My aftermarket battery monitor shows the truck used a small amount of power during the first 90 minutes of parking and zero watts after that.

Never used the Fordpass app. Uninstalled it after I spent my points. Got deep sleep message once before removing it. Noticed my interior lights weren't coming on a few times after, but truck always started. Then I turned off wifi, auto-updates and Fordpass in the entertainment menu. Never had the lights not come on since, even after sitting idle for a week.
