There are a lot of temporary solutions discussed in various threads but they are not effective for the long term. I still think the BMS is the issue. On short trips (less than 15 minutes), the battery does not get charged (or very little). All other solutions are just Band-Aids.

I’ve resorted to turning off Wi-Fi and auto updates again. No more deep sleep for three days now.
So just like that I got one again. I went about three days without a notice.

I hate to beat a dead horse, since I've mentioned it a few times, but... Have any of you with the battery issues pulled fuse 11 to see if that affects your deep sleep? I'm not saying that's your issue, but I'm genuinely curious to find out if the truck trying to communicate all the time is the biggest draw. I've heard others in the past say it is, and I know pulling that fuse only disables the truck talking to ford/ford pass app, and doesn't cause any issues or engine lights(at least on the 22 that I read).

I get that this isn't an option if you use the app, but I'm talking to those of you who have tried everything, but fuse 11. It would be an option for me were I having issues. I've never even installed the app on my phone. I've also never had the deep sleep, so I can't pull fuse 11 to test if it affects the deep sleep. Obviously, the truck is communicating all the time, whether or not you use the app. Ford ain't gonna give up all that data, even if you do.

I reset the BMS every now and then , trickle charge with the NOCO5 no issues . BMS seems to be the issue. I don't have any issues with the ford pass app, programed to start at 6:30 am on weekdays works every time.

I also have the Diehard Battery in mine now
I didn’t have any issues with mine last winter. I had to let my truck sit for 4 days and now I have the deep sleep problem. First I assume that this is the 12 volt battery that runs everything but the truck.
How is the deep sleep issue resolved? Will Ford swap the battery under warranty?
Can I put my battery charger on the battery overnight and solve this?
I am concerned that I am going to get caught with a vehicle that won’t start.
When I drive it the battery seems to charge enough for the inside lights to come on, overnight they don’t illuminate.
I look forward to all suggestions.

Once a week I use my NOCO Genius 5 to charge it fully. This has solved my battery issues but I should not have to do this. I truly think it is a BMS issue and Ford has not fixed this or even admit it is a problem.

Truck goes 2 days without driving into battery saver and less than a week for deep sleep, all updates done dealer bench tested battery twice and it has passed.
Fist 6 months it took 2 weeks to go to deep sleep ( sometime I travel on business and drive other vehicle)
Not sure if this is what you guys are seeing but it's super annoying
I have to reset the BMS about every week. If I try to turn the truck on with my phone and it doesn't work, the next time I drive I simply do the hokey-pokey BMS reset maneuver before I exit. I'm then OK for a while. I know no other way to be able to use the remote features without doing the reset.

I did the trickle charge thing with the original Ford battery. Didn't work. My opinion after seeing so many in this forum suggest it, I would just go get your own new battery. Their stock battery doesn't handle all the things this truck does after you park it. Your dealer will test your battery and it most likely will pass. And they can only install their Ford batteries as a replacement. With the new battery (I got a Diehard Gold) and the BCM reset, I have had not had any sleep notifications or battery issues for 10 days now. Nothing!!

I ended up going the Weize H5 battery route after mine wasn't coming out of deep sleep since the new year. Ordered directly from Weize and it was under $113 shipped. Hardest part was finagling the bin plastic piece out. Wasn't in deep sleep this morning, but the real test would be after the upcoming holiday weekend.

Put my tester on the OE battery that's now about 23 months old. Tested good with low-ish charge (12.36V when I did the first test), but it always had the symptoms others have observed with the voltage diving precipitously to near 12V flat when in the vehicle and not being actively charged.

Ford Maverick Had just about enough of battery saver and deep sleep 1000001379

Many of us have found that the sleep issue is a combination of a battery being replaced from the original one that matches our BMS (Battery Maintenance System) software to a lessor quality one and the software not being adjusted for the different battery. It has been stated in this forum that there was a battery shortage during Ford production for the Maverick and it was replaced with another one.
As a result, we (me included) bought our own replacement batteries, which are of much better quality than originally installed in production. Only one sleep issue in a 30 day period for me but that was due to not resetiing the BMS. I have resetted it now and expect all to be good.

Let us know how your replacement battery does. I think you will be ok. And make sure to reset your BMS. It's on page 317 and 320 of your Owner's manual.

The H-5 will replace the T-4 without issues?
