Question: the 12v auxiliary power outlet (ole school cigarette lighter). Does it have continuous 12v power, even when the vehicle is off? OR How long does the 12v power remain on after the vehicle is cut off? TIA

It shuts off about 30” after shutting off the truck.Question: the 12v auxiliary power outlet (ole school cigarette lighter). Does it have continuous 12v power, even when the vehicle is off? OR How long does the 12v power remain on after the vehicle is cut off? TIA
I don't believe there is a real consensus here, because the time it will remain on is subject to vary based on the 12v battery state of charge. The only thing certain is that the power does not remain on infinitely.Question: the 12v auxiliary power outlet (ole school cigarette lighter). Our dodges both have an outlet continuous 12v when the vehicle is off. Our maverick needs the key in the vehicle on turned to accessory to stay on.kinda bummed about this.Question: the 12v auxiliary power outlet (ole school cigarette lighter). Thanks, I assume it can be adjusted? My XL hybrid has a setting in forscan. The default is 4500 seconds.
Thanks, I have an adaptor, just need to learn Forscan....Yes, I changed mine to 15 seconds
That must be a very generic Ford manual section, since most of those power points don’t exist. I could only wish for so many. Looking at the list provided in the manual in detail:MY24 For 2 months mine shut off within about 10 Seconds but now it stays on an indeterminate amount of time... It appears to fluctuate, no idea how it changed or why. Very odd.

It's the online 2024 Maverick manual. That must be a very generic Ford manual section, since most of those power points don’t exist. I could only wish for so many. Looking at the list provided in the manual in detail:
On the lower instrument panel - We all get that one.
Inside the center console - None in there
On the front of the console - None there either
On the rear of the console - That’s replaced by USB ports on Lux pkg
In the cargo area - You get the harness, but have to make you own connection.
Basically there is only one conventional power point plug in my Maverick. Anything else I would have to wire in.
Yeah, I like the last "possible" place listed for a 12V power point: 3rd Row. Especially since NHTSA doesn't allow seating in the truck bed, LOL!That must be a very generic Ford manual section, since most of those power points don’t exist. I could only wish for so many.
