Thanks for giving a proper answer to my guesses. I'm sorta shooting in the dark to figure stuff out without spending money until I get everything figured out.Ok i got my set of fog lights from Diode Dynamics and got their wire harness with me and wiring diagram. I have been sick for the past 3 days with covid or flu but unable to touch my truck or think straight stucked on bed.
Heres a picture of the option if you want to use their harness and my bcm terminals to fog lights kit. If you prefer their harness then what i would do its wire up everything like they say. With the power with fuse and relay and ground to battery what ever. But the difference its where it says Switch Input install just 1 pin from the bcm to there and you should be able to use the f150 fog light switch.
Or wait for me to get better health wise and post a how to when i get a chance this week.
What is the program you're using to see how to take apart the truck?

I like options! But I still like your first run at it with your created harness.
If you did this simple switch wiring with the Diode Dynamics harness - would the OEM functionality (when enabled via Forscan) still work? Dash emblems, working with auto-headlights, etc?
Well, a 2nd place took my order for ML3Z-11654-BC on Thursday, but cancelled it today... Bummer.
However, found 1 that was in stock (their last one) and ordered... actually cheaper overall than the other orders. So, hopefull I'll get this quickly... DD Elite light kit has already arrived... (well ahead of the March estimate... woohoo)

Yes. Even they will turn off when you turn high beams on. Like oem .

I think im not using the elite fog lights and just using my way. And my own fog lights and just using the brackets they provided. Heres why im looking to make it look like the truck came with them. The elite its fine and the back lights looks good but not for me. Im happy they made the brackets and they look very clean built . Great job from diode dynamics. And i also happy that im able to use my own ford oem f150 fog lights on the brackets. For either halogen bulb or led fog lights from ford.

The Tremor tow hooks are what restricts me and ties me to the SSC1s (or Morimoto XB Bangers) - basically a 2" pod unfortunately

True, but it's the ML3Z-11654-BC that us EcoBoost folks want.. We dont' have a locking gas cap door. But alas, I can see that's it's a problem for Hybrid folks..
that said...I had a ML3Z-11654-BC order cancelled twice as well... So let's call national backorder on both parts...

I know your bypassing the harness from DD. Can you say whether you think the fog light switch could be changed to something different? Seeing your pictures, It seems like it would be possible to add a more narrow switch to the right side of the current lamp control.
Im very close to doing this, if the weather just warms up a bit more.
I have a quick question.
If the BCM sends power to each fog light with those 2 wires you pinned to it and ran through the firewall....where did you get the grounds for each light?

Hi again VTec, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what your name is. I'm Paul. Thanks for your instructions earlier and hard work and hope you're feeling better. I think a lot of us are getting some bug this year, maybe more so then before. I was checking back to see if you were able to come up with some kind of wiring harness and specialized instructions to work with DD's, fog light kit? I've never used forscan, but I think I can learn from all the great input here on this forum. I would like to purchase the DD fog light kit and then get that F-150 light switch with the hybrid gas door button and fog light control button and hook it up correctly so it would be working like factory. So I was just coming back around to see where you're at and if you wanted to make a kit and sell it to me with instructions. That would be great
