Yeah. If you keep the windshield waxed and polished up, rain beads off and you rarely have to use the wipers. I have been doing it for years.

Hoping I don't experience this. That sounds unnerving.
I have had it come on, twice.
The first time, driving into the setting sun..
Does get it's point across!!

Rain-X windshield washer fluid. After the second bottle, you barely have to use wipers except during that annoying misting that doesn't build up fast enough just fly off.

Worth noting, if you also have ACC, the radar unit also aids in PCA, along with the camera. You should get a separate warning if there is some obstruction to either.

Could have been a random false signal from something. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it happens more often, for no apparent reason, than maybe consider a service check.

Maybe I'll carry a clean pair of underwear in the glove box until Ford irons this out!

It isn't that shitty. :p

Seriously, What you get...
The display turns into a graphic of two vehicles, colliding with each other.
The rear of the vehicles are up in the air and (don't know how to discribe it) like "Explosion" waves rising from the point of contact.
It Flashes Off and ON in Red about two times and there is a "Klaxon-type" sound.
It's all over in seconds. Just like in a REAL Collision. (I have been in two minor fender-benders, ALL with my FIrst Ranger..1992 & 2000.
But, Nothing Since!! :giggle:).
