Pre-collision assist come on for no reason?

Has happened twice, both times taking turns with nothing around but figure it’s to do with speed around turns and camera and sensors.

I've had mine go off twice. Once when some guy got almost on my bumper when he was changing lanes and another time when a car pulled out in front of me. The incident with the car pulling out it seemed like it applied the brakes harder than I was pushing on them and locked up the rear tires for a second.

Occasionally it happens. Usually when someone makes a right turn and slows way down or stops near the road. Just a small angle to center my maverick can trigger it with the sensor thinking I will continue turning and hit the other car.

No, the system on this truck sucks. I make sure I disable it via the dash display before I put it in drive. I also disable auto stop/start, and traction control. It seems they've used the cheapest coders they could find. Only thing I've found that seems to work well are the auto dimming headlights.
