Ford's had my maverick all week and nothing still stuck in park. Said something about a pressure sensor but, said that wouldn't fix the problem. So I had a little fit and said im just gonna dump it. Whats yalls thoughts on me just bumping it on them. Then take advantage of the 8k off a 25 escape 2.0 st line also 0 interest 60 months as well

If you really like the Escape and have no need for the for the bed on the Maverick. With $8,000 off on the Escape and 60 months of interest free money, wow.

I think I owe 31ish on it kbb has mine at 29k trade i said 30k trade for the troubles ive had out of it. I dont need the bed I just really enjoyed the way the maverick looked reminded me of mini truck days. Witch was the plan with it till it started all this stuff

If the Escape is in a color you want.
Sure would be tempting.

The hand you have, is that they have your truck in the service area and haven't been able to repair it. You've got some bargaining power there.

So here's the end result im about to pick a 25 xlt i loose my sunroof and black package but, gain 4k tow and 360 I got 28k for mine with 12k miles on it. Payment basically the same. I wasnt upside down in mine but 500ish dollars. Really with it had the black appearance package over the 4k and 360. I dont tow or need the stuff from 360. I dislike driving assist things as I am a white line driver lol, im always on white line on these country roads. Again I want to thank everyone for the input and advice on what my moves should be

I also have a 25MY Lariet Hybrid. The lane assist, adaptive cruise control can be enabled/disabled in the settings on the 13" screen. Over time try using these features & you might come to like them. Country roads, back roads, old school driving wins. FYI, I flat tow my Mav behind motorhome & the manual says to wait 15 minutes before starting truck after towing. Why, nobody can explain. One time I needed to move my Mav quickly right after flat towing, attempted to start, dash lit up error lights, service engine soon, etc; it was frozen in park. Turned key off for 10 or so minutes, all was well, never happened again. Some theorize the internal.modem needs to communicate with Ford servers, and if interrupted, it gets frightened Lol! FWIW, if i use brake hold, I always release with switch first vs letting it happen automatically with accelerator press. Good luck with the 2025.
