I don't have mine yet, but since all of the doors (inc. garage doors) have ways to access with out keys the only thing I will attach to it will be a small lanyard and an Apple Airtag. I like having the short lanyard as it makes it ease to hang or secure to something when out for a walk.

I have too much stuff on my keychain. Work keys, car fob, file cabinet keys, flash drive, small screwdriver, a pill container and my Pi to 30 places lanyard.

Had the Maverick on my keychain before I got my actual Maverick.

I keep the keys for our 2 remote start vehicles in my pocket. I love the ability to unlock and start the vehicles without pulling a key out or fiddling with a phone app. Last week, while leaning over a ledge to get some firewood, I triggered the alarm on the Lariat. Since I just got the truck, It took me a few minutes to figure out how to stop the horn. As it was 4 a.m., I needed to apologize to our neighbors after the event. Which leads me to a question... I ordered leather covers for the keys in the hope that it will require a little more effort to push the buttons and hopefully avoid inadvertent pocket presses. I'm interested what experience others have had with the leather covers.

After driving two different vehicles equipped with push-button starting, going back to a keyed ignition for my ‘22 XLT has been interesting.

Since I have more than several keys on my ring (11 keys, a small folding pen knife and two key fobs),

Having read about ignition switches being damaged by too many keys on a key ring, I was a bit concerned about the same thing happening to the Maverick.

My key doesn’t have a huge amount of keys but more than the six or seven that I’ve read that were recommended as the limit.

Initially, I purchased one of those quick disconnects for the Maverick key fob, but I did not want to risk misplacing the Maverick key since at the time I only had the one fob So I devise this extra stick-on hook to help carry the load. I’d be interested in any comments or suggestions as I haven’t seen any similar post on the MTC forum.

This is my Maverick key. My wife's Explorer key has an AirTag on it since I only drive it once a week, at most.

Where did you get a giant minifig? have a Lego stormtrooper on my motorcycle keys but it's normal size.
Got it at a gift shop in a hospital,
never seen one that size before either so I had to buy it.

I try to keep it minimal. After a few incidents of being separated from my work key fob, decided to use a carabiner to keep my work stuff together. I detach the fob if I have my truck serviced so that I can attach my work keys to the loaner, wife's vehicle, or whatever.

My other fob I have a few keys for bike rack / cable locking stuff. I use that all weekend, and this one pictured on workdays.

A very scarred KeySmart with way too many keys (3 houses and a few padlocks). And the tonneau cover key.

But with the organizer, at least they don't poke me and wear a hole in my pants.
