What's in Your Glove Box?

I keep a small first aid kit, the manual, some "unicorns" awaiting the first time I ever park next to another Maverick, a pen and post it pad, a rag and several cheap pairs of Dollar Tree sunglasses (I am hell on sunglasses, go through them like candy for some reason). It's all in this divider a friend printed out for me, got the file from Thingiverse I think. My glove box is probably less cluttered than any other vehicle I've driven, because the center console holds a lot of things I would have previously kept in the glove box.

I love that divider. I could not find it on thingiverse. Can you find out where they printed it from and post up for me. I would love to have one.

What's in the box? Owners manual, small AA maglight, my vehicle maintenance logbook, a pair of woolen gloves, stack of paper napkins from fast food joints, along with some other assorted stuff I cannot remember.

Owners manual, tire gauge, another pair of reading glasses, and front license plate. Moving from Virginia to Ohio. Told my salesman to not install the front license plate bracket since I was moving to Ohio, where front plates aren’t required.

Also, just FYI when you go to put it in, you need to push in the two plastic stays on each side of the glove box (the ones you'd pop to access a cabin filter in most vehicles), and it slides right in. Close the box back and those tabs re-engage themselves.

Mileage, Yes,
And I make small notes (per date & mileage) on ALL Maintenance. Oil Changes, changing -lights, battery.
Any damage, adding accessories.
Its always right there, don't have to turn on a computer to see it. I still have each one from All the vehicles that I have ever owned...
The Most important is... Gas: as in mlies per, cost per month/year... etc..

Mileage book?

I write down the date, mileage, fuel volume, and cost at every gas stop. I also write down the maintenance performed. I did it on older vehicles like my first van because my dad did it. We have the book somewhere still with 333,000 miles in it. I don't do it on my beaters or vehicle I am not concerned with fuel mileage in. But the Maverick is my first brand new vehicle and it has a significant value. So I keep track of it.

I have been doing this, Long before there were 'Nerds" (I'm 64)
My Dad, Father-in-Law and a few Good Friends were Mechanics..
You learned to "Appreciate" a Car/Truck. For most, this will be Their most $$$ purchase in their lifetimes...
