Not trying to make those who are having problems, I just want to report a positive.

It has been LOUSY in NE Iowa the last few days. The Mav has not been out of the garage for two weeks. Been taking the RAV, since it's already outside. Today I blew snow and shoveled for the third time in four days. It is according to the Weather Chanel ONE DEGREE outside. After the snow was cleared, I decide to try the car and truck. Both have been plugged into Battery Tender Jr's all the time. Of course, The Toyota started. Never a doubt.
In the garage, I pushed the brake and hit the start button. Maverick started instantly. I figured the ICE would start up right away and it did. I let both run until they showed some heat on the dash gauges.
My 2023 Lariat Lux Hybrid was delivered on July 26. Maybe the bad battery batch was gone by then.
Hope my good luck holds.
This makes no sense. I would hope they would start up after having the battery on the maintainer. Is there something I'm missing?

It didn't bother me. It's like me saying my Maverick gas light goes on if I'm low on gas. Of course the light won't come on if there is plenty of gas.

Mine has both CP's, which I believe are part of the Luxury Package now. Have ACC on my RAV4 and wanted it on my Maverick. Also wanted dual climate controls. The self centering is nice. Not a deal killer, but nice. Navigation is obtuse. Not easy to get it to go where you want. For instance, if you say "Menards Waterloo Iowa" it may or may not find it. I have found that asking it to "find a place in Waterloo" and THEN tell it "menards" works far better. A couple of times it has totally screwed up directions. Best to have paper maps or a Garmin as backups.
Overall, we are pleased with the truck. By the way, BEST :) color is, of course, Area51.
Enjoy yours, no matter what color you have chosen.

So it was plugged into a tender? So why is that so great that it started. I don't get it.

No need to spit in the eye of Fate. I have been on this forum for over a year. I know better. :)
The sad thing is, last winter at -25F my 18 year old Ranger sitting outside because of 5 point buck hanging in its stall started right up with no issues. What happened? o_O

Ya, the Lariat's have a push start/stop button. Much nicer than fumbling around with a key. Sometimes it's the littlest things.
Yeah, but they put it in the dumbest position, down in the dark, especially when your car's computer is trying to hibernate and won't turn the inside lights on!

Muscle memory is useful here, but ya, I get your annoyance.
