The battery is not really in the cab. Itās under a thick seat cushion and in a plastic sealed container. I donāt think heat will be an issue with it. Just my own observation.
I have always had sunroofs. Wonāt purchase a vehicle without one. Tilt and slide only, can use them nearly all year round in Pittsburgh, except for those really cold, snowy days.
I only do city driving with some stop and go thrown in. Only need fwd and the lower starting price gives me a Hybrid XLT/Lux/CoPilot for $27k It is the perfect vehicle for me.

I think the rpm change has more to do with the CVT than any hybrid power train. I had a Suzuki Kizashi AWD with a CVT. I expect the Maverick eCVT to be a significant upgrade.
