FYI. One reason I always buy my replacement tires through Tire Rack is because they offer a great tire protection warranty (road hazard).

OP, just FYI that there are several threads on the forum where people go to war over whether or not to use plugs, fancier patches, or never patch at all when it comes to flat tires. Worth a read. I'm agnostic on that particular war. Thankfully, Maverick tires are relatively inexpensive to replace, even the whole set if needed.
A year or so ago Discount purchased Tire Rack.

I have 300 miles on brand new ford maverick, one of the pirelli tires that came with vehicle
Take it to Sam's or Costco and fix it for free if the screw was not in the sidewall or something.

Go to a mom and pop tire shop, $20 patch and keep it moving.

My Mav had a nail in a tire on a Sunday, Sams’s Club patched on the inside, free.

Costco offers road hazard. But have found it inconvenient to use. As when I do get a flat I am far from a Costco. I recently bought a set of tires from tire rack. Would you know how it would work with them?

My right rear is at my local Discount Tire right now. They couldn’t repair mine because there was a screw in it too close to the sidewall. They didn’t have a OEM replacement in stock so they put my spare on for me and I left the damaged one there and go back today to get them swapped over. I always get great customer service there.

Tires on new vehicles are warranted against mfg's defects and workmanship. A screw is a road hazard and not covered. UNLESS - did you purchase an extended warranty? If so, check the coverage to see if it covers tires.

Your best bet is to take it to a reputable tire store. Here in San Diego CA that is Discount Tire. They appear to have locations in Alabama. They will determine if it can be plugged. If the screw is in the sidewall, unlikely. If it is in the tread and under a certain diameter, they will plug it. Here they do it for free at Discount.

Skip the dealer, they will charge you a fortune if they even have tire equipment. Most dealers don't. A mobil truck comes with a the right equipment. Be sure they rebalance. If you have alloy rims, be sure they use tape weights mounted out of sight. Hope this helps.

If you have a Discount Tire store location in your area, we will repair your tire at no charge! Feel free to stop in!
No Discount Tire near me in California, only America's Tire.

Do you know if they do free tire repair? The AT website only mentions free lifetime flat repair if you pay for tire installation.
