I purchased my brand new 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat Tremor four months ago, and I have to admit Im starting to regret my purchase :/
Here is a list of all the issues I’m having with my vehicle
-Vehicle going into accessory mode with engine not starting while pressing the break, and the start button sometimes
-Driver side tail light constantly going out while my lights are set to auto mode
-Infotainment screen frozen with a random location in Michigan, while being stuck at max brightness
-FordPass app not connecting with vehicle and giving an old location from a week ago
-Weird AWD behavior on the interstate (see image below)
-Vehicle not warning me my rear tail lights are out
-My vehicle randomly honking twice as I’m getting out

Now I have to drive an hour out to a dealership that isn’t completely booked up with fords having issues to attempt to get these problems resolved for the second time, just be left with no loaner, rental, or Uber/taxi back home… again

Man sound like that truck got struck by lightning on the train or something. Thats a whole lot wrong like you need all new computers. Something serious for that many weird malfunctions to be a simple thing. Maybe they overfilled the computer coolant reservoirs!

First thing I did when I got my truck was get rid of connectivity to the FordPass app.

I'm not saying that is the issue, but I have no interest in letting an unstable application have access to my vehicle any time it wants.

Only Issue I've had since October 23 when I picked mine up was the tail light recall, which my dealer sent someone out to my office and did it while I was at work.

The double-honk is likely fob related, and the infotainment getting stuck has happened to I think every Maverick owner.

The other stuff sounds glitchy and I would definitely get it back to Ford to look at.

Best of luck, and keep us other Tremor owners in the loop!

That's unfortunate. I also have a 23 Lariat Tremor and have experienced zero issues thus far. Just brought it in for its 5K service (oil/tire rotation) and the dealer reported no problems detected.

Don't shout at me, but have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes or even a half hour, then reconnecting it? The tail light is a recall issue but disconnecting the battery may reset some things.

I attempted that last night and it only made things worse, my vehicle is not saving my settings, I keep getting a prompt for CarPlay every time I connect my phone, it doesn’t remote start anymore, my lights stay on after turning off my engine for WAY too long in auto mode even after disabling the headlight delay, and my screen just stays black making my backup camera not pop up… and all I did was disconnect the positive terminal for 30 minutes 😬

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

I would do a manual update on your infotainment system.

Make sure you have a USB stick with at least 8GB capacity. Login to Ford.com, make sure your vehicle's VIN is added to your 'Garage' and then from there follow the links to update it. The process is basically the same for Ford Connected Audio (base stereo) or Sync3 (if you have B&O): download the file and extract it the root folder of the USB stick, then insert the stick and start the truck. Wait for it to install and reboot at least once, then shut off the truck and remove the USB.
