Let's not turn this into a Hybrid vs. Ecoboost issues pissing match again, mmkay? It's not relevant to the topic of this discussion. @OleFordGuy made a comment that was relevant to this discussion.
Alright, let's all just chill our grilles. In my defense, I wasn't the one who "went there" first 😆.

Sorry to hear that. Mine has not had any troubles so far for the first 15000 miles. Long term I am hoping for average reliability but bought a 6 year 125K mile warranty just incase. My previous Fords have been less reliable than others I have owned.

If I was having that many issues though I would probably get rid of it.
May i ask what was the charge for the extension.Im looking into that same thing...thx...z

I am 81. Love the Hybrid Maverick. Just because it's so computerized and the prevalence of 12v battery issues I put a noco g5 multistage maintainer on my underwood pins for a week (not necessarily all the time but as long as possible to let the optimisation routines time to work and the trucks BMS to see the battery at 100% for several days). If I was having as much problem as your pop I would talk to dealer and order an eruption green lariat replacement!
Edit to add: noco put on about every third month mainly for suphation and electrolyte stratification correction. (The dang battery is seldom resting).

Check your grounds, especially where the negative cable grounds from the battery. Ford has a habit of grounding to a painted surface, giving it unneeded resistance . Clean every big ground you can find. Engine, body, ecm and so on. You can use an alligator clip jumper so you won’t lose memory while doing it.

My dad MUST have gotten a lemon. His has been at the dealer for a plethora of repairs since he got it new. I think it’s been in the dealer 10 times now. Maybe more.

Yesterday my dad went to start the truck and it started but he has NO working cluster display screen at all anymore. It’s just all black.
Anyone else have this issue?
My dad also said the co pilot 360 didn’t work when a car was on his driver side the other day and should have illuminated, but it didn’t.

I feel so bad for my dad. His has been one problem after another ever since he got it.

My dashboard rattles so bad and I have some interior rattles but at least mine has been overall reliable finally after ford fixed the issues that mine was having.

Sadly, this has been the most unreliable vehicle my dad has ever owned and it’s his first Ford.
