For those of you who have said you want a 16" wheel option, Method Wheels apparently has an option for you. They offer their MR707 beadlock wheels in 16"x7" 5x108 bolt pattern with the matching 63.4mm hub bore. The caveat is that only their 15mm offset version fits. I'm guessing that offset brings the drop center of the wheel far enough out that it doesn't interfere with the Maverick's larger rear brakes. Their website says it's a verified fit for the Maverick. You'll get just under an inch of poke compared to the stock setup which might not be an issue if you're running fender flares. From what I can see the wheels are super light at less than 22lbs.

Hmmmm… these with Mabett flares at stock height might look awesome.

Sure hoping this is real! And that they offer something more orange. Though blue could be cool if I got some stripes. 16" wheels would open up a bunch of tire sizes with good sidewall height. There is even a TSL that could squeeze on em.

I don't think anyone has been daring enough to try that 15 offset....

I'm not concerned about the roughly 1" poke. I'd be much more concerned that Discount Tire does not list this 16" wheel as fitting a Maverick.

Replying to myself, but when I de-select a Maverick I can pick the 16x7 wheel and there are 15 and 30 offset both. 30 would be a more normal fit on a Mav, but it would be pretty cool for autocross to use a 275/45-16 summer tire or dot r compound tire with the 15 offset.

I'm sure a quick call to Method Wheels could clear up any confusion

I'm looking for that 15 offset, but I'm also very skeptical because discount tires hasn't verified fitment.
Just call Method to make sure it's actually verified, they are a company that has been around the block so I would trust what they have to say. DTD deals with every make and model on the market across their entire range of wheel brands that they sell, there's no way they could accurately verify everything out there whereas Method obviously only has to deal with verifying their own wheels. I would trust what Method has to say before I would DTD. Also, I would specifically ask Method in writing (email) if they verified fitment over the rear brake calipers since that's the problem with 16" wheels on the Maverick, the fronts fit fine.

Not sure if you actually read the thread but Method wheels says that their 16" wheels with a 15 offset fit on the Maverick. "Verified fitment" according to their website. Thanks for contributing.
