Good idea. Same color or contrast on the calipers? Maybe orange or dark blue? (I have the orange/brown Carhartt canvas seat covers) 😊

Picked up a set of Vossen 20” rims & sprayed them Area-51. How do they look? I need a bit more rubber on them- maybe 245/45r20s…..

I am an old man, and can't keep up with you "kids." Beautiful truck, but I am AGHAST at the tires. Won't those things give a BONE-JARRING ride? I look at the rubber on there, and the space above the tire, and think that the HIGHEST-PROFILE tire in the world would not be too much. 60?, 70?, 75? whatever? If you are not going to autocross it, what is the purpose of low-profile tires? Again, beautiful truck.

IMO the color and the size of the wheel/tire combo look awful. It probably looks a lot better slammed (and there are many examples of awesome looking Mavs on large wheels on this board), but still not my cup of tea. Just my opinion, but color matching of exterior color with wheels (or even interior) only looks good if it's black.

The color looks good but you need to lower it. Not slam it. Eibach springs would be plenty. It's 2 Inc front and 3 inch back and still rides really good.

These came on the used rims, but I am planning to install a set of 245/45/20. That should bring the level to stock. I agree it would look better lowered, but Im too old to have a lowered truck, lol….. But still enjoy some tinkering with the look….

I respect your passion for you truck, but I'm just not feeling it my friend. I like larger rims, I am an aspiring car design after all, but it needs to be lower, and having differently colored rims helps to add some much need contrast. It's essentially the same reason designers use black plastic running along the bottom of the car. It not only saves money, but it reduces the visual mass of the vehicle, especially near the bottom.
