My Hybrid continues to surprise me!

I originally ordered an EcoBoost but found my hybrid on a local lot.
Just took a 50 mile round trip highway speed for most of it. Averaged 52mpg! I don't drive much but I just filled my tank for the second time in over three months. Am averaging over 40 MPG lately even though the weather has gotten colder since I live in S.Ontario. Amazing!

Same here! I keep forgetting the last time I had visited a Gas Station since I am averaging 45 MPG.

Mine too! my first 1000 miles I averaged 47.5 mpg. I'm at 1750 now and averaging a little less now that I have tried Sport mode a few times .

Yes it is fantastic the great milage the Hybrid Maverick gets My Maverick just over 19,000 miles Been across the U.S. twice . All over Tn ,Ky, Al, Ms ,Mo ,Wv don't drive easy when I need to go I go and I have average just under 42 MPG .

With about 800 miles on my new hybrid Maverick I am averaging 38 mpg. About 50% of my driving is on highways going 75. Much of the rest is country roads doing 60.

One thing that I find perplexing is that when I exit a freeway, using regenerative breaking with 100% efficiency,, when I exit the ramp, often the truck immediately uses the gas engine, rather than being in electric mode using the energy I just pumped into the battery. I am really gentle on the accelerator, and expected the truck to use electric mode more than it does.

I affirm what everyone wrote - my '24 hybrid has only 350-ish total miles on it, mostly suburban streets and a few freeway miles at 65mph. Shows 44+ mpg and if I add the trip odo miles and the distance-to-empty miles, I will get 630 miles on a tank of gas. By contrast, my 22 EB FWD shows 31+mpg for similar driving. Still not bad for an ICE.

Have you ever seen a bike with the chain driving the front wheel? That's where the problem is, every thing would be fine until you tried to make a turn!

I like that you have along bottom. Is that a sticker? If so hard to put on and where did you get it , Sorry to interrupt thread. BUT My hybrid gets great mileage to.

There is either something wrong with the computer calibration for your vehicle or you were downhill the entire time.

It's physically impossible to get >50 mpg driving at highway speed with this car. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the heck out of the thing, but a Prius it's not.

It is a very thick vinal decal . Very easy to put on just takes time and spray bottle full of water I'm 67 years old just sat on my garage floor and put it on slow and easy . I
Got it off etsy it's from a small shop in New York I think the guys name is Michael He's great to work with took a little time but turned out great . Lots of colors and designs to work with . Also put hood decal on. Would have to give him I'm very happy with both decals

Agreed. Drove cross country from Key West to L.A. last month. I am phev and hybrid savvy having driven both now for 10 years. At 70 to 74 l got 39 unless it was a serious down hill run and could get low 40s, like from Sante Fe to Vegas. 50 is impossible except short run all downhill.
