My biggest question is how long will the Rapid Red will delay production? :) I am trying to plan out payment options but with no dates yet on it or the Bronco order, its causing some anxiety :)

As for the splash guards, I opted to get those myself. I do this because they often get screwed on, but I like to use push retainers instead so there aren't any obvious screws or rust that appears later. Just looks cleaner and works just as well that way.

I could, but I am anal. If i am ordering a vehicle, I want it exactly how I envision it, directly from the factory. It sounds dumb, but I'd actually rather take delivery of a new vehicle in April/ May than November/ December here in the NE. Let the current Toyota take another winter salt hit. It will also give me time to get a couple coats of wax and some fluid film on the under carriage before the next winter.
Damn living in road salt land sounds unpleasant. How much does the aforementioned treatment run?

Glad to see their are other nuts around, like me, who have both a Bronco and a Maverick order in. :geek: I reduced my anxiety by "99" ing my Bronco order so it won't get scheduled (2dr, so it was a MY22 anyway)... I can then look at MY22 B&P, or even push it to MY23.

LOL - that was me as well until last week when I finally, and sadly, pulled the plug on my Bronco order!

Another refuge from brondco6g eh? What a fiasco. My original plan was to have a Bronco this fall (not an unreasonable expectation a year ago) and keep my Tacoma for hauling around town. I am now going to replace the Tacoma with a Maverick, but hang onto my Bronco order and see what happens in '22 and '23. '23 is probably the year to wait for with modular tops and heritage editions. I've gotta have a better ride in the meantime though.

Indeed, another refugee. That's actually how I learned about Granger which is why I've ordered my Maverick through them. I cannot afford to wait until 2023 to replace my current vehicle, and, honestly, I really look forward to the MPG of the hybrid.

Exactly the situation here. Glad that Granger got some of our orders... for what must be a difficult time for them with the bronco.

That is me as well. Waiting for the MY22 B&P to come out, but with a 2 Dr hopefully Mansquatch not a whole lotta hope. Still needed to replace my daily and that's where the Maverick will fit in.

I spend $150 per year on Krown rust proofing and my neighbor who does it has a 2000 Ranger that looks like new with 400K kilometers. It's an annual oil spray.

A couple hundred if I took it somewhere to spray via air gun for initial application. Reapply/ touch-up with aerosol can version myself for around $50/ year. Depends how large the vehicle and how much gets worn off from use. There is another similar product, but I forget the name, that I have limited access to for the service that I wanted to look into.

Yes, it sucks. Would like to move out of the rust belt at some point.

Dang. I tried to 99 my Bronco and my dealer had no idea how to do it. Or they say that. 😒

Oh well. It being a 2-door probably 99’d itself given that MIC top email from Ford. lol

Well, there will be increasing numbers of bronco folks who will either cancel, or push to MY22, MY23... increasing your odds of getting your MY21 bronco.... and a MY22 Maverick at the same time! :D Keep us posted.

Looks like 4K only on the FWD? Wonder what the difference is in the 4K tow between the two.
The tow package for the Bronco is on constraint also. Rumor on the street is that it has to do with the computer chip shortage. Now, what a computer chip has to do with a tow package is above my pay grade. So I'm sorry I can't explain to you how the two go together.

Strange, it now looks like Maverick customers are in the same boat as us downtrodden Bronco customers. Welcome aboard, I'm afraid it's going to be a long voyage.

Mine is a First Edition there, too, so no 99-ing for me, but I also don't have a production date yet, either.
My anxiety is mostly from figuring out financing based on approximate delivery dates more than anything else.

If anyone cares it appears the window vents are unavailable now as well. Our dealer placed our order on 6/29/21 and was told they could not be added. We can purchase them later from the parts department when available. Maybe AVS will come out with some quickly. We have AVS products on our other vehicles.
