Autozone had a nice black one similar to the one KdeB posted. Its easier to put them on after you put it in a clothes dryer on high heat for five minutes. I also use two pieces of velcro or double sided tape (at 9 and 3) on the inside to keep the cover from sliding on the wheel if it ever gets...
For what its worth, my son has the Gator trifold on his 22 Maverick. I bought a Tyger trifold $239 for my 23 Maverick. The Gator is $289. Both are good covers if you are looking to save money. Easy to put on and take off. The Gator is a year old now and is holding up well. I had a Tyger...
My sons Maverick was supposed to arrive Dec 29-Jan 3 and it showed up at the dealer on Dec 22 a whole week early. Looking forward to it but not like when we needed his Maverick. He was driving almost 80 miles a day to tech school and we really needed the hybrid. I was too late to order...
My order tracker stills shows in production. I spoke with the dealer today and he said it is built but not shipped. What he was seeing was an expected dealer delivery of April 8-12.
I just saw that as well when I checked my order. If I had to guess for those of us that have options there are a shortage of parts for, our Mavericks will be built and parked until those parts arrive when ever that may be.
Our first Maverick was built Nov 18, I think shipped around the 23rd and arrived at Marcotte Ford in Holyoke MA on December 21. Did you mean arriving around April 15th? There is a chance both of our Mavericks (my second is in production as of 3/7) will be built and set aside until the...
My window sticker is showing now but wasn't when I las checked two days ago. It is not showing "in production" yet on the order tracker but I bet it will be by Monday night. My Maverick does have CP360 so I am wondering if it will get built and put aside until the parts are in for CP360...
The heater is more than adequate in freezing temps. We took a three hour highway trip in 0 degree weather and did not need the heater on the highest setting. The cabin is not that big so it heats up quick and does not lose much heat if the windows are up.
My sisters first car was a 71 or 72 Maverick the same color as the one you had. She made it even worse with an Earl Schieb blue-green re-paint. Her car was optioned with the 302 auto and AC. PS but no power brakes. It was quick for a 2 barrel carb. It was fun to drive despite the color...
My son bought the Gator tonneau and it is pretty nice for the money (about $300 shipped). When my Maverick comes in sometime in April I will probably buy one of these from NAPA if available. If I get one I will post how it is.
At 8:11 pm last night email from Ford that my Maverick build was moved from March 7 to March 14. I don't mind as I have other cars to drive until I pick up at the dealer. This one is an ecoboost for me. My son's hybrid was ordered on June 29 and we picked it up Dec 22. My guess is the...
We had about 5" of snow and no problems driving during the storm with a Hybrid front wheel drive. No problems driving during the other minor storms we had also. The stock tires are decent for now. When they are worn they will be replaced with Firestone Destination LE2 tires. I have used them...
