Well the battery saver mode to me is acceptable if it happens after a long duration of the vehicle not being driven. I would probably buy a high quality battery first but yeah I wouldn’t put up with all kinds of deep sleeps and non starts. No way.

I have a hybrid Corolla Cross that we got after the Maverick. I’m not expecting these issues with it either. We shall see.
Yes I myself am not expecting issues either. Really no excuse. I can understand getting a bad battery. After that I have no desire to keep a jump pak in a brand new vehicle so I don't get stranded.
If I was leaving vehicle unattended for 2-4 weeks would put a 1.5 amp charger on a timer for 4-6 hours a day.

I didn't read all 10 pages yet but this thread has me wondering if I should make an appointment at the dealership. I have a 2023 Lariat Hybrid and for about the past two months I've been getting the message on the app roughly one a week about remote features being disabled. The truck always starts when I get it in after getting that message. Also I drive the truck at least 15 miles every day and most days more than that. The last time I got in the truck I noticed the interior lights didn't come on. Should I contact the dealership to have them look at it or are they just going to say there is no issue?

Oh Boy!
I suspect that there is a whole mess of folks (myself included) waiting to hear the consensus on this one!

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.
Late April build of 23' XL hybrid. Bought new on June 1st and now 10700 miles on it. 0 issues and drove daily. I like the app now so I can start it since weather is upper 20s at night for a bit. Hopefully my 24' treats me as good as this one.

I believe you are in the category of a person who should NOT be seeing this issue based on your driving habits. You are in New York. It’s getting colder. Did that perhaps bring it on? I would take it to the dealership. I would want them to at least replace the battery. I wouldn’t accept that it is just normal. It can’t be.

In the first week of ownership of.my 23 hybrid my 12v battery died completely, possibly a light left on, then I started getting the deep sleep the next day. I could drive to work ( 10 miles, 15 min), it would sit in the parking lot for 10 hours no problem, within 30 min of getting home it went into deep sleep. I figured the only difference was that it had the WiFi for my house and maybe it was trying to connect so I turned off WiFi and auto updates and had no issues for a few weeks until yesterday when it went into deep sleep again. I looked at the settings and somehow WiFi was back on so I started the truck and downloaded and installed the update then turned off WiFi and updates, fingers crossed.

I really love this truck but this is ridiculous. I just sold my 2008 civic which I bought new and maybe jumped out once when it was below zero with a seven year old battery.

I'd definitely recommend contacting the dealership to look at it. I have a 2022 Lariat that went over a year of ownership before I started getting the deep sleep notifications. Took it in, they replaced the 12v battery and in the couple of months since then I've gotten the battery saver mode notification. I drive about 20 miles per day mostly on surface streets so my truck is certainly not sitting around. I'm slated to go back to the dealer in about a week to get the battery cable overlay recall work done.

Still too new, chronologically speaking.
Plenty of running in ICE mode.
Keeps everything charged.

Lots of battery usage, I’ll bet. Less ICE usage.
Getting good MPGs.
Am I right?

Absolutely getting great MPG, and I do love the truck - just wish there weren't so many electrical issues.

I think that it’s going to come down to this:
One can live with great mileage and more DS/BS (Deep Sleep/Battery Saver)notifications………or convince Ford to change the charging mode to keep the ICE running more, in order to decrease these notifications.
Personally, I’ll take things as they are. I like the better MPGs.
AS LONG AS……(mũi importante!) the battery, although a bit drawn down, continues to allow me to drive when I want to. (I’ll still be carrying my charger set with me. Just CMA!)

I am in NYS but we have had an unusually warm fall so far, I haven't had to use the heat in the truck or the house yet so it doesn't seem like cold weather should be the issue. I am worried it will get worse as the weather starts getting colder which is predicted for this week.

I'll call them this week. I'm concerned they'll just give the standard answer that dealerships sometimes give of "Couldn't replicate the issue".

Definitely understand that concern - I've seen others post similar dealer responses here. My dealer did the battery swap rather than cable overlay replacement for some reason but they're gonna take care of the cable piece next week.

I’m still trying to figure out how more ICE equals more 12 volt charging when the high voltage battery is what is charging the 12 volt battery. 🤔
