I'm very interested in the overall quality, fit and finish of the Mabett fender flares. I already purchased and installed the expensive Ford OEM flares. I like the look (see pic, and remember, these are the Ford OEM flares), however, I'm not so sure about the quality and the longevity. As you know, they are "painted" and it seems like they scratch pretty easily, the color was a little "off" (has a slight blueish tint) from the bottom plastic, and I'm afraid the inner edge (towards the fender well) is going to be getting a lot of chips (creating color voids) from stone and road debris. Whomever purchases the Mabett flares, please let us know your thoughts on quality and installation.

I believe all the currently available flares use tape on the outer edge to secure them, whether the extremely expensive Air-Design, the EGR, or the Mabett. - They utilize the factor pins or a fender pinch clamp at the wheel well, and adhesive along the outer most edges to adhere to the body.

If there's one that doesn't please let let us know, however, pretty much most due. The ones on my Outback didn't, but they were canted inward, and used a rubber gasket that could occasionally come unglued from the plastic trim, and I'd re-attached with trim adhesive or flexible super glue.

I installed mine on Friday . Cleaned well with glass cleaner . They fit excellent and took about an hour and a half to install . I did put 3M clear tape on the edge of the fenders first. If you already have the Mabett mud flaps installed ,you have to pull a couple of the pins to fit the flares . But this is such a great compony to work with . I had purchased them before the discount , and they gave me a refund for the deference. Thank you Mabett

there stuck on with tape??
what could go wrong??!!
Most do use just the exterior adhesive actually. Some of the bigger ones, like I had on my previous Tacoma, will use some of the wheel well liner mounting spots, but they all still require the adhesive around the outer edge.

My Box was delivered Sunday evening. Here are a few quick photos of what you get. I think it's an awesome deal for a Benjamin $.
I will not have a chance to install for a few weeks. I'm waiting on some vinyl graphics and some color matching paint. I will post some photos when they get installed. 🤟

Update: I installed them.

When do you think they will be in stock? and will the discount be available for those that couldn't get them before the stock was gone?
Probably at mid of December. There might be some discounts available, but they won't be as substantial as the ones offered during the initial release.
