I have a 2022 Lariat. NON FX4.
I cannot shut the traction control off.
I’ve gone to the menu (by the speedometer and tach) under Settings, then Driver Assist. The box for Traction control is checked. I cannot UNcheck it.
Then to the button below the shift knob.
Press it-nothing. Hold it down for 5-10 seconds-nothing. I cannot get the traction control to turn off!
Am I doing something wrong?
Is there a trick to get it to turn off?
FYI- If I change the mode to Mud/Ruts or Sand, it DOES go off automatically.

So……hellllllllp 😀

Thank you

Does not makes sense. Only an fx4 has those modes. Unless it was altered using forescan. Maybe someone messed up?

You’re correct. I added them via Forcan

Maybe you have to turn it off with forscan since it isn't equipped with a toggle switch. That would be sucky.

Sounds like something went awry. I am not familiar with forescan
But I assume you make a backup before you change it. Restore it back. That's something I would like to do with my non fx4 too. So keep us informed.

It was done properly.
Just to be sure, I removed all the extra modes. Same results- cannot turn traction control off

Just curious why do you need to turn it off?

That's not how it works.......
If the tires are losing grip (like they might in snow—or in a burnout) I want them to continue getting power

Okay, that is different than all wheels getting power asap.
