Ford just went from a heroic, visionary, consumer-friendly auto manufacturer to a customer's worst nightmare. We all know about the 1st recall regarding the potential of an engine fire in the hybrid models and Ford's pathetic solution that did nothing except pat their buyers on the back and say, "See, all fixed." "Why don't you just calm down and go back to sleep". The 2nd recall is worded in much more serious language indicating that "this time" Ford will really fix it . . . just as soon as the non-existent parts arrive! By Ford's own admission, the engines have a block breach problem, meaning the block will break open spilling gasoline and oil everywhere. The ONLY fix is a new engine! Seems Ford has not wanted to pay the band and thus the class action lawsuit. What a freaking PR problem Ford now has in their lap! Did they learn nothing from the Pinto fiasco?
