Anyone know if the inverter option is pure sine wave or modified? Since they don't specify which it's probably modified but you never know.

I'm gonna say it's NOT pure sine wave based on the limitations in the owners manual.

What is the problem with plugging in a small refrigerator that draws .63 amp on AC 120 and 6.5 amps on DC 12v? I have not been aware of the modified sine wave with the 120 plug and have used it several times for 10-12 hours at a time in my Lariat Lux package. I am using a Dometic CFX 28 portable refrigerator.

Most of those things listed have high startup load, exceeding the limit. Who has a scope out there, it will show. Maybe your fridge is low enough load to run.

I have in the past plugged the refrigerator into the 12 volt cig. socket in my F250 Diesel and it sometimes burnt the fuse. I bought a solar powered lithium battery/generator and the first time I used it and plugged into the 12 volt plug, it drained the battery in about 8 hours on a 10 hour trip. Since then I have pugged into the 120 circuit and in 10 hours only about 1/2 discharged. Since then my Maverick Lariat arrived and I just plugged into the 120 plug in the bed with no issues I use the fridge for hunting and fishing, however my wife likes her cokes cold when traveling and in the motel, so I use the Maverick to travel.

It will power a crock pot-)
Only if it's under 400 watts. :)

I've run a laptop off it no problem since the charger re-inverts to DC. Since I posted this thread, I got my truck and tried to run an LED work lamp from it. The light flashed because of the power being dirty. Ford said it was an "incompatible lamp".

400w at 120V is about 3.33 amps.

I'm guessing some folks have swapped out for a pure sine wave version, rated at a higher wattage?

I'm not an electrical guy, but seems like it would be straightforward.

400w at 120V is about 3.33 amps.
1.33 amps on the lamp side (120v)
33 amps from the 12 side !!!
(that's a lot of amps)
