I just saw an article about a CyberTruck spotted in Vegas charging. The article about how the charge cables are too short to easily reach the charge port. Sure thats dumb but easily fixable. What is the worst thing that tells me Elon Musk has no buisness making cars is that he put the charge port on the FENDER FLARE!! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

One place on a vehicle guaranteed and designed to take damage and be replaced easily!!! That is the silliest thing I have ever seen. Would have been just as good on the rocker panel, or maybe the passenger side mirror lol.

even Musk admits that as is, it's crap. not close to production.
since Elon has the attention span of, well something really short , his mind is on the 4th project after cyber, Mars and not earthly matters.

edit, make that 5th project, forgot he was the head twit

That looks like some kind of external wiring, perhaps for a sensor. It is a prototype, afterall.

I despise any truck where the mfg chooses styling over function that makes reaching over the bedside to access your cargo harder. Especially at the back of the cab. Bed access on that abomination is impossible w/o climbing up in it.

I'll save judgement until it actually releases. There are tons of people that buy/drive trucks that don't use them as trucks, just daily drivers... So this Cybertruck will be fine for plenty of people I'm sure.

Yeah, trucks are there to serve me. Not the other way around.

The Cybertruck is gonna be a great soap opera for those of us not emotionally invested for or against the thing. How many of the alleged 2 million reservations convert to actual orders? How much will it actually cost? How well will it work in the real world? Is Elon's massive ego-driven styling trip gonna be an insane market disaster or his greatest success yet?

The interesting thing about the Cybertruck is that even a multi-billion dollar failure would hardly be noticed by Tesla. That's how much money they're making right now. Love or hate Elon Musk, you have to frigging admire the success story that is Tesla. They are currently hitting on all cylinders (to use a somewhat awkward ICE metaphor).

It makes for great reality tv, and I'm content to watch without making any predictions.

I dont admirewealth, especially ill gotten wealth. Corners cut, backwards thinking designs, personell issues, tax dodges, hype schemes, an attitude of "if you dont think im the best, than you must be the worst". SpaceX is even worse. No admiration from me.

If you think SpaceX is bad, just look at NASA. Typical government run bureaucracy filed with over paid and underworked fat cats. :ROFLMAO:

Well there is that. I'm mostly annoyed by the starlink stuff really. Throwaway satellites and making harder to track dangerous objects in space. Not great.
