Okay, finally getting my truck soon . I just noticed that the sticker price I saw online is $500 higher than the order as written. XLT went from $24455 to $24935 and dest and deliver from $1495 to $1595. ( minus a reduction of $20 for somesthing) The only paperwork I ever received from the dealer was the preview order even though I had requested a covp several times. Has anyone had a similar experience or any suggestions on how to handle this? My original salesman has retired and I am now working directly through the general manager of the dealership.

None of the figures in your title or post match or make sense..

What does your dual-signed purchase agreement with the Dealer state your delivered price will be?

Yes there was an increase of $400 for the Maverick and $100 increase for delivery.

Ford will credit the dealer $500 since there is price protection, but it's up to the dealer if they give you the $500 at the purchase or later on once they have been reimbursed by Ford.

The general manager should be aware of the price protection process. Speak to them and ask how they will handle it.

The window sticker is generated at the factory, at the time your vehicle is produced. Whatever price is in effect at the date is the price your sticker will reflect; it simply doesn't know what price was in effect at the time your vehicle was ordered. You should receive price protection based on when you ordered the truck, and a decent dealer will honor that (I know mine did). If you failed to take possession, the dealer would then have to put the truck into their inventory; the price-protection then disappears, the invoice adjusts upward to the current cost and the window sticker reflects a more timely price .

I just picked up my 23 XLT Hybrid last Friday. I didnt even pay attention to my old paperwork.
I just paid attention to the MSRP on my sticker which was about $27,230.

When I was doing my financing at the dealership, I noticed my sell price was 26,750.
I was honest and questioned why it was lower. The sales manager said it was my Ford price protection when I placed my order.

Kuddos to the honest dealership.

There is price protection. You ordered at level 315, sticker printed at level 330.

If you added options after the price increase last year, did it invalidate the price protection?

Options are a separate line item, they do no affect any price protection on the base price.
I believe switching trims is the only thing that would lose price protection.

Not honest enough. It should be -$500, since when you ordered it also included the 4g LTE wi-fi, which got removed in the final build and $20 off. Was why it was $480 more, so if you look at the removal, it should be another $20 lower on the price.
