I am shocked at its size and I'm still having some difficulty adjusting to how big it is. Far larger than the S-10 it replaced and longer and wider than my late model accord and daughter's CRV. I've read it has more interior space that the new ranger.

We had two Mavericks for a while but ended up selling my wife's Tremor because she just decided she'd rather go back to an SUV, which fits her lifestyle better.

So, we ended up getting her a 24 Crosstrek Sport. It's a great vehicle (and superior to the Maverick in a lot of ways, but that's another post for another day) BUT one thing we both noticed was how when you get into the Crosstrek you feel as though you are getting into a "cockpit."

The Maverick interior feels cavernous by comparison. I think it's because its relatively boxy (it is a truck, after all), and there is A LOT of air when you are sitting in the front of the Mav. I mean, the space between the front seats, between the seats and dash, etc., is really generous. You do not feel cramped at all.

I also agree that length-wise the Maverick is not small by any means. However, the bed does feel pretty small as a result of the crew-cab configuration. However, the back seat holds quite a bit, and it's amazing how much you can fit in the under seat storage bins in the back. I have a 12-volt air compressor, some tire tools, a ratcheting bed bar for securing loads, a bag of ratchet straps, a blanket and a few other things I can't remember right now in there, and it's still not close to full!

Oh, and as many others have said, the Maverick fits in my garage. I don't think there is another pickup on the market currently that would. I have just enough room, front to back and side to side. A few more inches either way and it would not work. That makes the Maverick "right sized" for many consumers, regardless of other capabilities vs. the competition.

I am pro-oil change. In fact, I guarantee an oil change in the garage of every Maverick owner if elected.

I love pulling up to a lifted $80,000 F-150 in my "little" $27K lowered Mav XLT HYBRID (as I chuckle to myself). Really, the only interior difference is the size of the ARMREST
Backseat on the F-150 does admittedly have a good bit more legroom.

Size - I went from a 2016 GMC Canyon V6 extended cab which they pitched as a "small truck" to the Mav. Had to stand on the tire to reach into the center of the GMC's bed. Since I don't tow 7k lbs which the GMC was rated at, I find the Mav is a great fit for me, for my garage and at the gas pump [2.0 EB]. Easier to get in/out of, easier to wash. When I see the '70's and 80's Toyota and Nissans, they were small. My Mav is very similiar in size to my 2006 GMC 4 cyl 2.8L Canyon which I foolishly sold when it was 10 years old for the 2016 GMC Canyon which I never bonded with. But the sale of the 2016 Canyon paid for 85% of my '22 Mav last October, so for $5k I had a brand new truck.

Now, granted, I'm moving from a 2008 Ranger single cab, but MY GOD, after picking up my truck yesterday I can't get over how HUGE it feels! Interior cabin feel is enormous, cavernous in comparison even to my old Honda CR-V. Even the exterior "feels" big to me, I went to apply a quick spray wax yesterday afternoon, having done the same job on my Ranger the weekend before, and it seemed like twice the work, area to cover. It's just fascinating, I'd previously seen a lot of pictures on here with side by side comparisons of the old rangers and the Maverick, I wasn't prepared for how much larger this vehicle would feel.

Don't get me wrong, I love every inch of it!! But for anybody who's thinking this is a teensy truck, they've got a reality check coming.
The thing is, todays trucks have just become behemoths. I got my drivers license in 1976, and the "full size" F-100 (no F-150 yet) was basically the same size as the Maverick is today. I've owned F-150's and Tundra's in the past and liked them all. They are just way more truck than I need anymore. One of the primary reasons I bought the Mav was because is would actually fit in my garage ;)

F150 is a lot bigger in the inside, particularly in the back. I can stretch my legs out in a F150, not so much with the Maverick. I have to ride with my legs spread out.

I get what you mean. My 2018 Rav4 had room, but I got in a 2023 Rav4 XSE because I was thinking about trading in the Maverick. While there is slightly more room in the backseat of the Rav4, the front feels like a cockpit. I sat in it and with the large center console and everything, I was like "Where's the room?". I didn't realize how open the Maverick front was until I got into the Rav4.
