Could this be why my Maverick is not getting allocated?

I wasn't necessarily singling out Ford. I'm not buying the geo-political goings on as an all purpose excuse. There's always something going on in the world. It seems to me like the plant in Hermosillo is too small to keep up with demand. That's the bottom line. Also the originator of the thread's beef was with the allocation system.
what exactly do you know about the Hermosillo plant's capacities and Ford's production expansion plans for the plant? I myself do not know how many actual assembly lines they have there right now, but Ford announced they are moving the Transit Connect production there and expanding capacity to build them. Ford is a global corporation with factories all over the world and can produce 1 F-150 every minute using full capacity of 4 US factories. This aint their 1st rodeo and it will get right sized sooner or later, but things like this move a lot slower than people might want/expect. It's like turning an aircraft carrier around- planning starts far from the execution point- and slow but steady gets it done.

You mean PRE-pandemic, global supply line stoppage, and Russian invasion? I totally agree we are experiencing long waits, but keeping things in perspective here, this isn't new or unique to Ford. How may times was Tesla Model 3 production and delivery pushed back? Cybertruck- forget about it. How about the wait for C8 mid-engined Corvette? New Bronco? I have always suggested people in this situation (or ready to take the leap) not tie any other financial or transportation decisions in their lives to certainty of a delivery date for a Maverick. I was lucky(?) enough to have other presssing life priorities that made it so I couldn't complete a deal on mine for up to a year after ordering anyways and it was mostly out of my control. I actually wanted a big delay to get my $hit together before signing on the dotted line. Almost 7 months since I ordered now too. Just the luck of the draw sometimes in this life
Everything, all of it, was bad and getting worse before the Russian invasion. The Russians just make it a little bit worse.

When I ordered my Mav Hybrid in the first week of November, the sales guy said to be ready to wait a year for it. That’s just the nature of ordering a new car nowadays
Yep November 5 here and all I've got is a vin.

Don't talk sense, it just confuses them.

For me the bottom line is that if you can't wait then don't wait.

There are so many reasons for not waiting. All good and valid reasons.

Go get something else.

Ordered 7/26/21, Lariat Hybrid, First Edition, Lux Pkg, CoPilot 360 after about five push backs, finally scheduled last week. It will probably be a year before I actually receive. Hoping sooner!!!
So you should see in 2022 CY.
