Honest opinion, made my own Maverick letters

I have been reading here and on other places about mavericks being rear ended and the excuses for the most part that at night the other drivers didn’t see the Mavericks. So as you can see in the pictures I’ve added I bought the regular Maverick lettering and then got some reflective material and traced it onto the reflective material and cut out and then put on truck. So what does the Maverick club think of this old man’s idea? Thanks and Happy Trails

I unfortunately doubt they'll make a meaningful difference in whether you get rear-ended or not. That has more to do with traffic density, how aggressively you brake, and if the person behind you is paying attention.

Yours look nice. I was able to buy reflective letters (Matte black in sun, white at night) from ebay about a year ago so they are out there if anyone doesn't want to do it this way.

They make a reflective spray paint. Wondering if that would work on the letters? Or if it mess up the vinyl or whatever they are made with.

Looks good! I made my own with a Cricut vinyl cutter. Gotta love the DIY stuff!

Here’s a night time photo of my Maverick reflective material I don’t think the picture does it quite as good but I’m pleased with it and I’ll see about doing something about that Koons sticker-LOL
