Maverick all in - is it your only vehicle?

This is a thread for the "all inners". I'm all in. The Maverick is my household's only vehicle as of 3 weeks ago.

What happens if she's "down"? I should have a dealer loaner for about the first 5 years. There's planes, trains, turo, lyft and busses. I also have a fat bike and I 'aint afraid to use it! Famous last words, right?

It will be my only vehicle once I get it. Going to turn in my Ford Fiesta to the dealership to upgrade to the Maverick. The Fiesta is on its deathbed, so hopefully the Maverick gets here asap!

Only vehicle, which is why when I was "interviewing" dealers to place my order, one of the deciding factors was loaner vehicles. If my truck goes down I'm screwed, no other transportation.

I had 2 vehicles for 6 years.

The Maverick is the bridge to that gap and my attempt to save money. So far so good.

Not worried about it going down. Insurance will cover a rental, possible dealer loaners, and warmer months I have my KTM 390 ADV. Plus, if it's not transmission related, I'll fix it myself.

We've been down to one vehicle for several years now once I let the 2006 Mustang GT go. It's rarely a problem for our situation, and we make do one way or another when it is which is seldom.

I've got 4 as well. When the Maverick gets built and delivered I'll sell or trade the '12 Hyundai Excell. Still up in the air about selling the '08 Vette and going to a 3 car situation for Wife and me. Still, there's the 42 year old Yamaha XS650 that needs to be bobbed when I retire next year...

I've just gotta shuffle my stuff around. My wifes new vehicle and our town car is the Maverick. The ZJ becomes the loner/eagle doner, the Eagle still needs paint to become the cruise in vehicle, the Bronco needs a break soon for rust repair after the Eagle is on the road. And of course there is my work/farm/offroad truck Comanche that always needs work but must always run, atleast 4 days a week.

I have 2 Mavericks.A 2022 AWD Lariat and a 2023 AWD Lariat.I also have a 2004 Mercury Marauder and a 2014 Mustang GT AND 3 old ford trucks so I am good to go.Wife has a Honda CRV.

I'm keeping my 04 Infiniti which was fully depreciated over a decade ago as a backup just in case unless I decide to replace it with something more interesting. Plus have the Triumph to ride from time to time.

I’m down to 3 vehicles while waiting. Donated a ‘05 Trailblazer that needed more repairs than it was worth. Four drivers in the house so we coordinate schedules until the Maverick arrives.
