Yeah...the custom order Maverick was mistakenly placed with all the other Dealer Stock Mavericks they ordered...All ZERO of them, then they accidentally sold it for a pile more markup. What a crock.that dealer is a lying sack of![]()
—I worked for a ford dealership after an ordered my 2023 Ford Maverick. I can tell you that the dealership knows the difference between a custom order and an inventory vehicle by the color of the MSRP on the window sticker. Blue means it’s for inventory and green means it’s a custom order. If it’s green then it also says CUSTOM on the window sticker!! In my humble opinion, the dealership knew exactly what they were doing to Mr Gierz custom ordered Ford Maverick. And it’s about time that either the FORD Company or the consumers take it to the next step!!! FORD Dealership owner(s) are pompous, arrogant Hell bound buttholes who need a swift kick where it hurts….their deep (political driven) pockets! JMHO, K. Or start shopping for another truck using the $5000 to cover the up charge from the dealer with a truck.Best $5000 flip ever!! lol ..... i mean if a dealer sells your ordered Maverick, but pays you $5000 .... best possible outcome!
At that point it's the time it takes to get another one (if order banks open).
