Cancelled my order and bought something else, but posting this for the VIN watchers. Also, my dealership rolled me over into a MY24 order too (without me asking). Would be ironically hilarious if I get two unwanted XL hybrids after waiting and moving on. It also sucks I can't give it to someone on the board. I know my dealership marks stuff up about $10k, unfortunately.

Got the notification 3 hours I got the order summary for a 24 rollover if the 23 did

Last year some 7K Mavs with VINs were never made. I doubt that will happen again this year. But it is possible.

Once you have a VIN, you are good. If you are cancelled, Ford will rebuild your order as a MY24 order themselves and set priority as high as there is.

Ordering this truck from Ford has been pure nightmare fuel.

941XX 948XX seems to be the new high VIN, which would mean only 27XX were scheduled.

Anyone have a higher VIN?

I found a used '22 XL Hybrid with 25k miles on the clock for and bought that on July 1st, assuming I wouldn't get a '23 built. Guess I positively jinxed myself!

Now my bets are hedged, if the dealer tries any funny business with ADM, I can walk away and still have a Hybrid Mav. If I can secure the '23 ordered maverick at MSRP, I can sell the '22 and break close enough to even to call it a wash (I'm assuming I'm going to have to eat the cost of taxes and licensing fees, which is fine) and get brand new version of the same truck with the options that I want.
