Who received the 2024 confirmation from Ford?

That makes some sense. I picked up my 2023 in May though. So my dealer either made a mistake or used my info to place a 2024 order for the dealership. I'd like to think the former :/

Hear about a number of dealers who can't seem to place orders correctly, or correctly perform rollovers. Then there are those dealers that accidentally place orders or do it 'just in case' without telling you. Either way seems like a whole lot of shady dealers...

Yes I got one yesterday. I didn't even place my orders so I assume the dealer just rolled it over. Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust my order to change some preferences? I want to go for terrain but my original order was oxford white.

Just got my confirmation at 11:30 AM Eastern. Ordered two days ago around 4 PM Eastern.

This is not a carryover 2023 order. It's a new 2024 order.

I Went to My Dealership 0ff & On For 2 0r 3 Months to See If They Had Any New 2023 Mavericks For Saie ,
They All Ways Told me the Ones they Had Were Already Sold ,
They Told Me If I Came in 0n 7/17/23
I Could Order a New Maverick The Way I Wanted it . For MSRP ! . Not 1 Penny More ! .
So on 7/17/2023 . I Went to My Dealer Ship .
I Got There at 12.30 . So I Would Be the Very First Person There . in Line! . For When The Order Banks Opened at 3pm on the 17th .
I Set There In My Dealership Till 6pm
When They Brought Me Out a Order/Build Sheet to Sign .
Everything Was At MSRP as They Had Told Mr it Would Be .
So I Signed it . & . Ask For a Photo Copy of What I Just Signed . They Gave it a Photo Copy . & . He Went to a Room to Place My Order ! .
2 Minutes Later .
He Came Out . & . They Had Hand Written + $3000.00 On the Oder/Build Sheet .
I Had Just Sign ! .
& .
Raised The Price of My Oder/Build $3000.00 ! .
I Told Them I Was Not Going to Pay Anything Over MSRP ! . & . They Told Me That If I Wanted to But a Maverick From Them .
I Would Have to Pay $3,000.00 Over MSRP ! .
I Told Them They Lied To Me . I Took My Sign Order/Build Sheet 0ut of His Hand ! . & . Left .
When I Got Home I Had a Email From Woodhouse Ford in Blair Nebraska . a Dealership That is About a 3 Hour Drive From Me ! . I Emailed Them Back . They Emailed Me Right Back Telling Me They Were Not Open . But Would Call Me in the Morning .
I Called Them at 8 am on the 18th . He Said He Had Worked Up MY Order/Build Sheet . & . Emailed a Copy it to Me . & . I Would Need to Make a $1000.00 Deposit For Him to Place the Order For Me . & . I Would Need to Send Him a Picture of My Drivers License . & . I Would Have to Do a E Sign on Some Paper Work . I Could Use a Credit Card . 0r . He Would Trust Me Place The Order for Me . & . I Could Mail Him a Check .
I Had to Think About it . I Went to The Library To Get Copys Of What He Sent Me . & . When I Opened Up My Email
I Had a Message From Ford . That Said . { Your 2024 Maverick XL Order Confirmation . } George , We"ve got Your order. Order ID:_ _ _ _
So I Received Mine Around 11am on 7/18/2023 . 2 Hours After My Order Was Placed ! .
I Called Woodhouse Ford in Blair Nebraska . & . He Said He Trusted Me .
I Told Him That I Recieved a E Mail From Ford Saying My Order Had Been Placed ! .
I Gave Him My Credit Card Info . While I Was On the Phone With Him .
I Recieved a Email From My Credit Card Co . That Showed a $1000.00 Deposit to Woodhouse Ford in Blair Nebraska ! . That I Had Just Made With Him ! . & . That it was to Woodhouse Ford in Blair Nebraska .
So That is Mt Story

It's probably the latter. If that's the case though, you'd think they would change the email address. I don't really care, as long as I get my truck for around the same price as originally promised.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. I have yet to step into my dealers lot. I did everything over the phone. My dealers communication sucks!
