Who received the 2024 confirmation from Ford?

I got my email last night at 9:43pm EST and my salesman texted me my COVP confirmation and emailed the DORA. I should be in good shape.

Still don't have X-plan on my DORA and still at priority 19 when I should be at 3 due to rollover. I've asked 3 times already and get ignored. I guess I should just be happy with where I am at for now and adjust the other stuff later.

Weeks ago my dealership promised they would roll over my order. I called yesterday anyway just to reaffirm I still wanted it. Had to leave a message as my salesperson was not available. I didn’t hear from him or get anything kind of notification from Ford. After a call to my original dealership and another message to the sales manager (salesman was off today) I Got a little worried so I contacted another dealership and by 3, I received an order confirmation from Ford (from new dealer). Never heard anything from the original dealer. There goes my spot in line and price protection.

I wouldn't give up that easy. You could be leaving hundreds - or maybe over a thousand dollars on the table. Won't hurt to keep pestering the original dealer. Worst that happens is you cancel the other order ... or let the dealer keep it.

Got order info from dealer at 653 pm and got the ford email at 701. Rolling over 23 Lariat to 24 Lariat everything I added on it before, LUX, CP, Remote Start, hitch are now standard. Only thing I had added back was floor Mats without carpet Mats. The difference in my order sheets between the 2 is 1,875 w/ destination. I would hope the private offer would be about that.

I put MY24 order in Tuesday morning (7/18) and received confirmation from Ford a short time later. It included MY23 order number. Dealer put in priority 10.

Fully loaded Lariat with all packages. Lux, CP360 and CP360 assist. SiBL, Moonroof and Floor mats.
'23 price was $36,100 (after mid-year $400 Lariat base price increase).
'24 price is $36,900.

Taking into account they dropped the Alto Blue ($495 extra) and I switched to Atlas Blue an no extra cost, looks like a $1,295 increase for the 2024. We'll wait and see what the private offer covers.

Sorry, forgot to add on my last post. Loaded Lariat is Hybrid. $1,295 increase does not add up if hybrid is $1,500 more.

My '23 is scheduled for production next month and I have the VIN. I also got an email today confirming my '24 order. Same order code as on the 23 order. I didn't ask the dealer to do that, so I called my salesman. He said they were placing backup orders for all of the '23s they had not received yet, just in case.

That makes some sense. I picked up my 2023 in May though. So my dealer either made a mistake or used my info to place a 2024 order for the dealership. I'd like to think the former :/
