I have built and priced way too many theoretical Mavericks since the initial build and price went live in 2021. So, now with this information, I again spent a couple of hours 'building' way too many theoretical Mavericks last night.

Basically, I am down to these two builds:

1). XLT AWD, 4K Tow, FX4, Azure Gray, XLT Lux, Co-pilot 360. Priced out at $35,075 retail.

2). Lariat AWD, 4K Tow, Azure Gray. Priced out at $37,690 retail

There is a difference of $2,615 between the builds. That is a lot of money IMO. But the Lariat comes with more desirable features such as B&O, push-button start, rear park, and spray-in liner instead of drop-in. I thought about dropping FX4 for the XLT (I want it for the different instrument HUD). That puts it at $3,415 difference. Hard decision for me.
Go for the Lariat. I under-ordered my '23 XLT FX4 4K CP360 rear-slider Alto Blue, and never expected that I would miss the push to start button, as well as a power drivers seat, that both of my company-supplied vehicles had before I recently retired.

I plan to order a '24 Lariat next week. More equipment that I want/need, and I'll get the BAP in order to not get the Desert Brown interior, which will preclude me from getting the FX4 package this time.

Looks like a similar 23 Hybrid XLT, Lux build is now $4000 more expensive?!

I'm feeling like I stole my 2022 XLT hybrid, lux, 360, tonneau cover and 2 more little xtras for 28,100! Spray in liner came with lux package. Took almost 15 months to make the heist though! LOL!

How the shoe-inspired Desert Brown interior has survived for three years as the high-end model standard is beyond me. I'm planning on ordering a 24 Lariat as well, but I'm not sure I can convince myself to spend $1,500 just for black seats and finishes.

That's why I picked it. Didn't like the way Grey fabric clashed with orange.

No more navy and brown seats plus all other brown inside. Black wheels, emblems, and smoked lighting are big upgrades. Money well spent IMO.

I live in the South, so all the heat gain from the sun would be unpleasant with an all black vehicle.

Ceramic tint will help with that.

I felt the same way... $1650 is a big spend. But I think the Bowling-Bowl Shoes color combo of the Lariat would wear on me after a while... I do live in the Sonoran Desert and have concerns about an all black interior, but I don't know that the dark blue / medium brown combo would really be all that much cooler anyway.

I'm a bit on the fence about ordering for MY2024 because of the requirement to go from nicely equipped XLT to fully loaded Lariat just to get my absolutely required sliding rear window. I have 3 days to decide or just wait until MY2025. LOL!!! But if I do pull the final trigger, I think I'll opt for the black appearance package as well...

Both are great builds. The differences I see it is if your application includes much off Road. In that case, the FX four is a no-brainer. My XLT FX4 in Baja is exemplary.

My ‘23 XLT AWD with the $800 FX4 package being the only option I added, plus the $495 HPR paintwork had an MSRP of $29,965.

For MY24 same build yet increased pricing. 4K is now required with FX4. $800 for FX4 and $745 for 4K on top of that. New price is $32,170 (based using the build config on Long McArthur’s site). That’s an increase of $2,205.

Glad my ‘23 had been delivered this year. I wanted FX4 but opted out of 4K because I don’t tow ever, and wanted to keep the MSRP below $30k. Having seen many FX4-equipped trucks they all came with 4K so might as well bundle both packages together.
