Any owners finding Carbon Gray a PIA to keep clean?

I love Carbonized Gray, but have heard that it is a dust/dirt magnet and requires cleaning often!
So for the owners of CG, have you noticed this?
For everyone else, what color hides dirt the best?

I've had many different coloured vehicles over the years, I've found black to be the worst to keep clean, my carb grey is no worse than anything else.

Of vehicles I've owned, black and white have been the ones that always seemed to look dirty. Silver and blue the ones that dirt wasn't not so much noticed. Shades of tan'ish color I would think would be the same.

I thought seriously about ordering the Maverick in sliver but just liked the in-between Silver and black look of the carbonized gray.

Glad to hear the CG isn't terrible to keep clean! I just sold my 2019 silver Grand Caravan, so I know that the silver hides dirt well! I'm still waiting to see an CG Maverick in person.

When the trees were f*cking and dropping babies everywhere it was a nightmare. outside of that its way easier than black not bad really.

It’s a darker grey, and honestly there was a light rain earlier and my truck, previously perfectly clean, was a hot mess after. I couldn’t believe how much the dirt showed…

I love the color, but was expecting it to hide the dirt much better. I’ll be doing a ceramic coating I was debating on to help keep it clean, but I still love the color.

I've mentioned on here how carb grey can be a pain to keep clean, but it's no different from other darker colored vehicles. It actually looks just fine even when a little dusty. I'm just a bit ocd, so truth be told, no matter what color the truck, I'll still be pissed when it gets a little bit of grime

Seeing carbonized gray in person on a Maverick convinced me to change my order to the color. It looks fantastic.

This is my second dark grey truck. I will say that water spots show a lot easier when close up compared to something like a light silver or white, but I like the darker color.

Love the gif, I have the carbonized gray on the roof and I notice it always seems to have a visible layer of dust on it the day after I cleaned it.

Yep, also this lol. And I live in Montana... so it's wash, drive home, dust and de-bug again and by morning when I'm ready to drive there is another layer lol.

I won't let it defeat me!

It seems the pretty ones always require a little more maintenance.

So I think I've washed my black minivan twice since we bought it in 2020? ....

Our Carb Gray hasn't been washed since we got it (April), but not a ton of gross stuff here- most dirt is sand.

Miata (2000) needs a bath too.
