Does anyone else experience stiff legs walking after driving Maverick a couple hours?

Maybe it is just me getting old but after driving couple hours on trip driving my 23 Mav Lariat my legs are stiff trying to walk for a few minutes. I feel very comfortable while driving. Road trip 10 hours. I don't have the issue driving my other vehicle. I am guessing it is because I cannot adjust the angle of the bottom seat since it is set in one position and can only be adjusted forward/backward up/down (no tilt).

Yes. I'm almost 60 and I my legs are stiff after a 2 hr drive too. If there were one thing I could change about my Maverick XLT, it would have a larger seat and the angle would be adjustable. I don't know if you've tried lowering it. In lower positions the front is higher than the rear. It's also back farther. I like to sit high, but It's more comfortable lowered.

I usually cut my 7 hour monthly trip in half and no matter what I drive my legs are stiff, old age maybe🤣

Coming from a notoriously low seating position in a Tacoma.... nope.

Raise the seat height and that should help a bit, if you can of course. Some of you giants are probably already on the ceiling lol. But there is definitely more leg room than Tacoma's. My Escape had the same seating situation as the Maverick and I enjoyed it overall.

Took our maverick on our annual beach Tripp today. On my way down after an hour I was getting stuff in the back. Never was stiff in my gti or my wife’s gmc terrain. That was disappointing

Same. I prefer to sit upright but in the mav I needed to put the seat down some and recline it a bit to feel better after driving. During the drive I'm fine.

I am stiffer after driving my wife's 23 Camry than after driving my 22 Lariat. I think the "leatherette" seat permits me to shift positions easier and hence, more often than the cloth seats. Of course, I have had Camrys for at least 27 years and the seats have become more uncomfortable with the newer models. IMHO! 😉

Does your Lariat have a 6-way power seat?

Odd this post came up today .... I was thinking my Mav seats were a little punishing.
"I never had any uncomfortable feeling driving my Versa".

Well ... just got back from driving ~90 miles in the Versa ...and well ...
I'm just getting old ... cause my butt felt like i lost padding.

Time for some butt beads :)

Yes. The lack of a separately adjustable seat bottom is a massive fail.
How many low cost vehicles have that? Everyone bitches "I want that" or "why didn't they include this". One of the reasons you bought it was low cost so don't expect a Cadillac.

My 21 year old mid trim Accord had independently adjustable seat bottoms.

A 30k Subaru Crosstrek has independently adjustable seat bottoms.

My top trim 2022 Maverick, more expensive than both, doesn't. So yes, I didn't buy a Cadillac, but I'm not sure what that has to do with Ford's questionable packaging decisions.

I asked my brother what he thought about his new Maverick Lariat. He said, I'm going to have to make some changes to the seat. He said I know I won't be able to go far with the way it is. I believe that pretty well sums it up, when the report of a new vehicle has got to be changes for it to work?
