I had not thought about installing a catch can. Can you share what brand, and installation problems, and how often it must be emptied? Thanks.

Well since my wife isn't on here, I suppose I can throw a rough total together lol. lets see..

all prices are estimate/ballpark**
  • backflip MX4 ~$1000
  • knobby tires ~$450 ($700 + $100 mounting - $350 from selling OEM tires)
  • Fiesta ST leather steering wheel ~$325
  • modular DIBL pieces for bed and tailgate ~$250
  • smartliner floor mats ~$120
  • front window tinting ~$100
  • wireless android auto adapter ~$60
  • hitch shackle + hitch lock ~$50
  • mudflaps ~$50
  • tailgate assist ~$40
  • tailgate letters ~$30
  • dog seat cover hammock thing ~$30
  • AC switch control cover ~$25
  • center console organizer ~$20
  • OBD2 wired connector for ForScan ~$20
  • anker USB C 20W car charger ~$20
  • bed cargo net ~$15
  • LED top reverse lights ~$10

Total: $2615

however ~$210 was from the FordPass points, and the majority of the other stuff that came from amazon was heavily discounted by my use of credit card reward points. If I had to guess, out of pocket is closer to 2.1K flat.

So, here's a fun anecdote that's on-topic.

I am an Amazon Trusted Reviewer, which gives me access to a catalogue of pre-listing products that I can request and keep, for free. All it requires of me is a review of said products after I get them. (yes, everyone I tell is jealous too, and no you can't sign up, it is invitation-only directly from Amazon.) In that catalogue is an automotive section, and in that automotive section there are accessories. Through the proceeding months since ordering, some Maverick goodies have popped up periodically for me to snag.

Since back in September, I have so far collected:
  • A set of stacking center console organizer inserts
  • a stubby antenna
  • chrome tailgate letters
  • a hood-edge LED strip light
  • interior LED tube light
  • and, hilariously, a set of the molded mud guards
now, if only I could get scheduled and get my actual truck...

Have kept it down to around $1000 for the hardtop bed cover, and about $20 for the black Maverick letters to go onto the tailgate (they come tomorrow - looking forward to seeing them on our silver Mav). Oh, when we were dealing initially with the dreaded Deep Sleep messages, bought a $45 portable charger to wake her up. No need for that for now with a good battery installed.

Since I just put it on about a week ago, I doubt there is enough to be concerns out emptying just yet. I saw several YouTube videos that showed it was necessary for the Ecoboost engine. I bought mine from Amazon. There are several brands available, they’re all pretty much the same. I don’t think you can make a wrong choice. Mine is the Evil Energy brand. I chose it simply because it’s red though I wish it were Orange ( my Mav is CO).

Had ours since April of last year: ~$120 on smartliner mats and ~$150 on no-name roll-up tonneau cover. Doubt we'll spend more.

Probably get mats when I can get a discount code and do something with the cubby/12v in the bed.

I may be old school, but I want to keep my truck viable for a long time.

My truck is currently in production, but I've slowly been collecting accessories and modifications. Some of these were birthday gifts. $545 so far. Ebay, Etsy, and Amazon links to each product in the table below:

Those are rookie numbers. But I guess that with a Lariat Lux, there probably isn’t a lot left to add.

I bought rubber floor mats ($200) from Ford and “Ford Performance” black metal plate frames ($50 for the pair) from Amazon before my truck arrived. $250 + tax in so far.

I have the spray-in bed liner and hard trifold cover scheduled for installation in two weeks.
