We weren't getting emails from Ford and had been waiting 18months so we were surprised when the dealer called late on a Friday and said our truck was there. We didn't have time to move money from one bank to another, so we got a loan.

Took a couple weeks to get paperwork from the bank (including a payment book, how cute), and we immediately called and paid it off. Unfortunately they did charge the interest for that time period. So we paid about $150 in interest on our truck.

Are you paying the full 10% sales tax on a Maverick? In my state, the sales tax on a vehicle is 4% even though normal sales tax locally is 6.5%.

I am expecting to revceive my new 20205 Hybrid Awd, with the luxury package and the 4K option, very soon.
I have been trying to get a price out the door , everything included, from my saleman but so far he never answered my question. The price tha the quoted me when I was ordering and the window sticker price are just about $ 100.00 apart.
Is this price that I am agoing to pay or are they going to load my price with taxes and fees?
I was going to pay cash but the saleman told me to do not do it, to take a loan.
I plan on paying the laon in just one time almost immedialty.

I live in Tennessee and am interested in a couple of 2024's in Indiana. Apparently, I would pay the 7% tax in Indiana and get that tax credit when I register the vehicle in Tennessee.
When I bought one in Illinois 9 years ago, I paid no tax at the dealership, and I paid all the tax in Tennessee at the county clerks office when I registered it.
Some states are different to add to the confusion.

correct. I pay the tax when get back to my state and register, or the dealer out of state can charge the tax of my zip, but its easier just to pay the tax in person at the title office. imo.

I paid $36k and change OTD for my 2023 Lariat with all the toys except sunroof. The closest I could come today would be over $42k for a 2025. For a Ford!!
When I get tired of my Ford toy, it will be back to Toyota.

In my (limited) experience, your salesman is reluctant to give you an out the door price because he HOPES to make more money at the time of delivery. They "want" to sell you an extended warranty and make money off the way you pay for the truck. It is advised that you watch the delivery date and hustle in to the dealership, as some dealers have sold "ordered" vehicles out from under those who waited patiently, making a dealer markup profit. Previous posts are correct in that you should be able to learn tax and doc. fees yourself.

They wanted to charge me $10k over msrp on my 23’ got it down to $4k - good luck!

As noted taxes and fees vary depending on the state and dealer. I never buy a vehicle without knowing the OTD price first or I walk. If you salesman is waffling on giving you a OTD price its probably because he is figuring how much they can screw you.
Final note, I have never paid MSRP or over for any vehicle in my life and that includes 4 Mavericks.

Total with options and extended warranty I paid 36 000.00 check and credit card. Everything was paid in full withing two days.
At first I was very reluctant to buy the maverick but now I like it more every day.

When purchasing outright or with my own financing I've never had a salesman fail to disclose the OTD price for me.

Buyers get into trouble when they say "I can only spend X dollars per month" because that is when they will screw you.

I in fact paid less (about $100.00) that the salesman quote. Everything went very smoothly and I got my truck in just about 10 weeks. I was told that it was the first one in Utah. Overall and so far, very satisfied.
In addition, about two weeks ago I received a check to refund overpaid taxes!
