I have to admit, I like cheap so I ordered the XL. The accessories I’ve bought is a fair bit of money, but I like to keep in mind that even when I get the Line-X, I will still be under the $2,260 price difference between the base XL and XLT. I won’t have every bell and whistle, but I will have the truck I want and I’ll have it at a great price.
... my accessories purchases have been well in excess of two grand I am sure.
The Tonneau was from Ford, dealer installed when the Mav was delivered.
RockBlock mudflaps, Linex bed-spray, rubberized bed mat (also from Ford), various decals, striping, Tailgate lettering, etc.
And I even went through three iterations (colors, width) of the sidestripes before settling on the final version...
...but, with such a low basic vehicle price, I could justify all of it.
No regrets whatsoever.
After a year, I'm lovin' this little truck more than ever.

That’s a great looking truck and obviously well cared for.

I know a lot of people here on the forums have Mavericks as work trucks and it is inevitable that those trucks will quickly get dinged, dented, and scratched. But I intend to keep my cheap XL looking as nice as possible for as long as possible.

Your truck looks great!
Always been a fan of blue stripes on white paint.

There are other Mavericks, but this one is yours.

...your Mav is a top-notch setup for sure.
I would encourage you to get the Ford wheel flares. They're pricey but REALLY add to finishing "the look".

I have been on the bubble about doing the 'Catch-Can', but am concerned that it could invalidate the factory warranty.
Are you not concerned about that?

All I know is I most likely spent too much. :ROFLMAO:

Tires, bed cover, tailgate assist, Lasfit LED brake and front turn signals, elevate rails and rack. At least $4k all in.

$ 84.69 VIOFO A119 V3 dash cam
I have used this dash cam on many vehicles including my current, and opted for the 119 mini 2 for the Maverick which looked to be the same video quality watching YouTube vids comparing the cams. The biggest thing about the 119 mini 2 is it's almost the same price as the v3 and it gains an app for pulling the videos to my phone.

LASFIT bulbs (1x wt21w, 2x wt21w in red, 1x w16w, 1x w16w in red): $157.27

Grand Total: $986.93

I plan on getting the maverick floor mats after I get the fordpass points so that'll be free but it's $195 otherwise, and I might get more LASFIT bulbs for the markers and Lariat front turn signals ($14.99 and $49.99 respectively). If you add all 3 of these without discount, that brings my grand total to $1196.92.

Not a whole lot around $600
I got a tonneau cover
Some descriptive rings that go around the heater knobs and radio knobs and rotating gear selector
Plus some silver lettering for Maverick name on the tailgate
The last to get for now that is $110 is a bug deflector. Down the road i am getting a sign “Lil Gizmo“ put on the back window
The later we see what other small things i will get to dress him up with

How much have you spent on accessories for your Maverick? Did you buy accessories before it arrived, or even before it was picked

Right after I got the lucky scheduled for production email, I bought a few accessories for my XL. It adds up quick and almost before I knew it I was well past the $1,000 mark.

Here’s my list (prices include my state tax).

$ 170.51 SunJoe SPX-3000-X pressure washer
$ 149.99 RokBlokz mud flaps
$ 135.08 detailing supplies (iron remover, microfiber, etc)
$ 132.50 Adam's Graphene Ceramic Kit
$ 124.61 Smartliner floor mats (front and rear)
$ 117.41 two bed cubbies plus bolts
$ 84.79 jump starter (in case of the dead hybrid bug)
$ 84.69 VIOFO A119 V3 dash cam
$ 80.93 D-Rings for bed, tie down eyelets, bolts, and taps
$ 19.05 12 volt power splitter and USB cable for 2nd rear dash cam
$ 10.57 4 pack of tie downs
---------
$1,110.13 Total

And I still have some things to buy. For sure: Line-X, a 12 volt power point for the bed, and a ball for the hitch. Maybes are Lasfit reverse and load lights, anti-theft tailgate lock, and a console organizer. Last, not a high priority, but I will be keeping an eye out for a deal on Bronco or Maverick stock wheels to replace the XL steelies.
About $1K ; most of that was the tonneau cover)
