VERY Nice!!! I have been considering a similar design that actually sits on the lowered tailgate to allow for a six foot bed on one side.

Hanging out in Shenandoah NP in our camper. Hybrid is averaging 28 mpg towing, got 94.9 mpg going down to Luray yesterday.

Yes it’s 75 inches wide, sleeping lengthwise so the sleeping platform is 75 by 35 with the ability to expand to 54. MPG with camper is 40mpg it weighs around 200 lb.

Interior isn’t finished so still pretty rough inside. But the unusual height is so I can sit up on the bed platform.

The only lightweight simple way to build it. We do need interior pics though! I would definitely need a 52" or more for the wife and I.

You need to seal it / stain it / paint it, but kudos for the DIY project. Curious to see the inside…..
