There's no time like the present to start my build thread. Today was the first big day toward building a fun daily that tends toward the sleeper side while being able to run pump gas and keep up with some of the amazing builds I've already seen take shape here.
I have yet to actually take delivery of my Maverick unfortunately and as of today the proposed delivery window is between now and 9/8/23. I'm going to be flying down to pickup the truck from a Ford dealership that my uncle works at because he was able to get me an allocation in September of 22' about the time I was in the market for a truck because I was remodeling my kitchen as a first time homeowner. I bought another truck in the mean time because I had to have one when I saw the writing on the wall about what was happening to Ford's supply lines. As I finally got the build date, etc... I've let myself get more excited. As a child of my generation for whom The Fast and The Furious was scripture and comedic quote gold, I saw an AWD turbocharged small vehicle platform and knew this truck could fill my daily driver needs and scratch my tuner itch simultaneously.

While I still have a lot of what I consider "the basics" to get done to the truck, when @Fast Mavericks posted about the Thermal R&D 3" cat-back exhaust being on sale, I jumped at the chance to get one of the first mods I knew had to be done.
The packaging was excellent and as a person who has worked in manufacturing the majority of my life, I consider that a sign of quality and pride in the craftsmanship.
I'm telling you guys it was a light, but completely secured package. Not knocking or banging on the exhaust, in a word, excellent.
The details in the hanger security beads and all the pieces was very impressive. Now to await the chance to put it on, release a few stifled horses with a more free flowing exhaust, and get a sexier tone with a stock appearance. (I opted for the turn down tip that goes in the stock cut out.)
