Color switch on the Maverick. Your opinion counts

I had a 2022 Ford Maverick XLT all wheel drive Alto blue. I changed the tires and put the FX 4 decals on the side.
I just received my 2023 real XLT FX4 in white with more options.
I MISS THE ALTO BLUE.
Did I make a mistake here are the pictures of the both trucks.

As a side note I have a white Corvette convertible with red leather interior and black Z06 rims
So they match

You could put some vinyl on the truck. Full wrap if you really want a new color, otherwise stripes would be good.

Personally I've sworn off black vehicles or anything close to it since I park outside near the airport at work, and ride MTB trails, everything gets dusty. And Alto Blue is very near black. My favorite car was white but I didn't have a choice on it. I like cactus grey.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either one. They’re both great looking trucks.

I too like the cactus Gray but I never saw it and I ordered the white one September 17th. The alto blue was just too dark at night and we live in a rural area.

Leave it white, with the black accents it looks great the way it is. Tint the windows and lower it and perfect. Lose the FX4 decal as well. Please don't put stripes on it.

I don't understand your quote. We are all truck people. Explain how penis envy comes into this. I am intelligent enough to know that when you think you have something great someone always has something better. The only time penis envy ever comes into play is when I'm on the beach. IMO, Color is all a personal taste/opinion. There's no right or wrong. But I will say I love my alto blue. And for me, any metallic paint is much better looking than a non metallic - even in the same base color. But different strokes for different folks.

Agree with you, except to say the Alto Blue just never really appealed to me personally, but that’s why vehicles are offered in different colors.

The OP’s new truck looks more Cactus Gray than Oxford White, but maybe it’s just a trick of the light.
