@Maverick Life - basically exactly what @JimParker256 is seeing, I had a scheduled date and now it just shows "Order Confirmed". Possible that it's a glitch like you said in a later post, but I haven't had time to contact Ford support to confirm.
As recommended by someone else on MTC, I contacted customer support, who then confirmed that my order is still scheduled for the same date. It's the Ford.com tracking component that is messed up...

Not all that surprising, considering it has been well over a month since I updated to Sync 3.4.22251, and that site still says I need to do the update...

Same, just got off the phone and Ford support they said the original build date is still on the schedule. Not just gotta confirm that I have COVP with the dealership just to cover all my bases...

I'm pretty sure if you're scheduled, you'd just be wasting your time... Ford specifically stated "for unscheduled orders"...

Follow-up from my post yesterday: my salesperson did send me my COVP approval, attached here. The format looks slightly different compared to other screenshots that others on here have shared, but the important info is there: it clearly states Approved and there is a tracking number.

My tracking number is 7 digits long (others were 6 digits long) and the date listed on my COVP is 5/25/23, as opposed to when I submitted my order last September. This certainly makes me think that my dealership just now submitted my COVP. I'm glad that it's finally there, but I can't help but wonder if my order might have been scheduled by now if it was properly COVP'd from the beginning.

Also, I had him confirm that the "Maverick Gas" in the Vehicle Line section does indeed indicate a Hybrid and not the EcoBoost. Let's hope there isn't anything else wrong with my order that could prevent it from being scheduled... ya know, besides Ford not being able to meet production demands. 🙃

It will be tragic on here after June 2nd - or the 5th.
Weeping and gnashing of teeth.
But it will be a slow process of people realizing they have been cancelled. Like everything Ford there will be no clear communication of this.
I don"t think anyone is going to get a "You're cancelled" email.
Like all Ford things, it will just happen.
You can bet Ford, or their dealers, will not have the courtesy to inform customers of their cancellations, it will just happen. We will all just be expected to reorder MY2024 like good little puppy dogs and mind our masters. I hope most will not take kindly to this and let them know what they think of their process. I hope lots of people move on to other Makes and models with better product management and distribution. I know I will!!!

Yes COVP only matters for unscheduled orders
Sarah via phone call salesman confirmed covp ,then Tim mentioned
If one changes body trim has to be reinterred as such,
To b3 clear I changed from xlt to xl 5 months ago
Please advice

I’m pretty sure I was covp approved when I took out the order in September. The concern is after changing to a new body trim
since that was done later perhaps I need to recall it state that clearly to salesman

Ford has informed the dealers - the memo was shown here. The dealers are responsible to ensure their orders are COVPd since they are the one that took the cusomer's order, not Ford. And how about the customers taking some initiative to check on their orders. Can not conceive how someone orders a vehicle worth tens of thousands of dollars but doesn't check out the dealer, the order process, the progress of the build and the final pricing. Then they blame everyone but themselves.

most people don't even realize there are behind the scenes requirements like COVP - they don't know enough to ask about this. Even an excellent dealership with outstanding sales people can overlook doing something like that .

I don't think that's a fair to say ,not everybody knows what a COVP exactly means if they don't follow Maverick news . So now everyone has to scramble for what was it a memo with a 9 day notice?

IF YOUR DEALER DID NOT MAKE A COPY OF YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE......and you are not scheduled you have work to do!

Print a copy of the Ford bulletin about COVP and go to your Dealer. Confront your sales person to verify status. If that isn't going well, ask to speak to the manager. This is easy for them to fix ( yes, should have been done when order was placed because they know how hard Mavericks are to get).
This is a clean up process for Ford to help fill "real" orders left in the order bank. Some will get screwed....but don't call out Ford for it. It was made clear that COVP should be done at order placement. Like someone wrote earlier, when Ford suggests something you damn well better go ahead and do it if you want a seamless process.

Some will complain and have reason to complain. But I think Ford has made a strong effort to fill more Maverick orders this year. It is not easy to increase production like it seems they are doing for the rest of the model year!
I think that if Ford really wanted to make the effort they should have not taken too many orders again and confirmed them only to to have waiting customers to no avail. Sorry, it's not the customers responsibility to have to jump hoops to assure the dealers are doing it right.

Since my dealer did COVP my order back in Sept., maybe I stand a chance of getting it built, now that it appears a lot of orders might get canceled. Or not...
